This e-book is based on a 2011 TED Talk. In this book, Zimbardo and Duncan argue that male addiction to pornography and video games have created the "demise of guys" - a generation of shy, awkward, emotionally unavailable men who are unable to navigate real life relationships and other issues. I am sure their population selection for the survey was a little biased, and I'm not totally on board with the solutions, but I do agree this is a phenomenon and this book was a great read into just that. It was an eye-opening read for me as there are some up and coming young men in my life who could relate to the issues in this book.
