The diva cup is a revolutionary product. Of course, it take some time to used it properly but when you are accustom you will keep this product for life. This is simple, ecological and economic.
I wish I had found the diva cup sooner! I've always had heavy periods, but after the birth of my daughter, they were unreal. I was having to use a super plus tampon, overnight pad and a panty liner and still change every 2 hours. I had to wake up several times at night to change or there would be leaks. It was awful. Shortly before I got pregnant with my son, I found the Diva Cup. I was nervous about it, but decided I had nothing to lose. Well, I haven't looked back. On my heaviest days, I only need a pad for peace of mind backup, and I need to empty the cup every 4-6 hours. I can sleep through the night without worrying. I am so thankful I gave it a try! I have saved so much money in pads and tampons, the cup had paid for itself. Do yourself a favour and try it!
After having two children my cycle is just not the same, with the diva cup I feel in control and don't have to worry about mishaps or buying pads, which by the way are very expensive!
No exaggeration, my life was forever changed . I will NEVER EVER use anything else when Aunt Flow comes around! I have always hated using pads and tampons, and never knew that there was another option that was comfier, more sanitary, cheaper (in the long run), and environmentally friendly! The Diva cup is a leak-proof menstrual cup that you insert and empty out twice (or more if needed) a day. You literally cannot feel it at all, and don’t have to remove it to use the washroom, shower, or swim. The Diva Cup is about $40, comes in two sizes (pre and post baby) from any grocery or drug store and can be used for a year or longer.
I absolutely love the diva cup and recommend it to any girl in my life! I think that this product definitely takes some dedication and getting used to but once you figure it out, it is life changing!!
I love this product!!! I will never go back. It feels so much more comfortable throughout the day and I have a much better idea of where I am. I would recommend this to all my girl friends.
The diva cup is so discreet and feels like you're not wearing anything. It might take some getting used to when you first start using it and for peace of mind, I recommend using a liner as well. But after a few uses, you get the hang of it and It can last for hours (depending on your flow). You can easily preserve optimum hygiene and in the long run you also save time, money and hassle of having to remember to run to the store or take extra products with you when you're on the go. It makes life SO much easier!
Just under $40 bucks and you can keep it for years to come? How amazing is that? No more purchasing tampons and pads - the Diva Cup has you covered for a full 12 hours! You heard me ladies - 12 whole hours of leak proof protection!
The Diva cup is a silicone cup you insert like a tampon, that can hold up to 2oz of blood, which is more than the average flow for an entire week. you have 0 risk of TSS and can leave it in for as long as you find comfortable. I have personally left it in for up to 18 hours. It can be used for swimming, and I sleep naked so we'll say there are no leeks as long as it is used properly. Every time you remove the cup, wash it with warm water and soap, clearing out the holes and removing all yuckys. Word of WARNING. if you leave the cup in for more than 4 hours it starts to smell bad, so try not to leave it in for any longer than the average tampon. It lasts as long as you clean it properly. I have had mine for a year.
I love the DivaCup! Now that's not to say theirs not going to be some lets call them "misunderstandings" in the beginning because let's face it learning how to to properly use this isn't a lot of fun! Once you have learned how to use the DivaCup you will never want to look back. It is the best product I have found out there and on top of everything else your being environmentally friendly you can't go wrong with the DivaCup.
