Hey Ya'll ! I recently tried the Diva Cup. I like it compared to the alternative. I love that it is natural, and we are using less waste. I also love that it is money saving , and can be taken and used anywhere . Big thumbs up here
I just got my diva cup, and it is amazing. It took a day to develop the confidence, but now application is easy and wearing is comfortable. I can't believe all the money we'll save! I appreciate the measurement feature, why not know what's going on. It's made in Canada!
You only need one. I'm still uncertain about how I will approach cleaning in public, perhaps having a second one, and a small Ziploc bag; but maybe you just don't have to with the 12 hour wear.
It does what is says, but not very convenient when it needs to be emptied, a wider tip would help with the grip.
Je l'utilise depuis 2 ans. Merveilleux produit.
Amazing product. Price is obviously more expensive than a box of tampons, but having to only buy 1 a year at most makes up for it. I love this product because i can wear it for longer than a tampon with no risk of tss.
Honestly this is the best invention. I could never imagine going back to tampons or pads. A little TMI but if you have a heavy flow there can be some leakage, but for the most part it works perfectly - just the first day usually sucks for me, so I have to have back-up. But honestly, this is such a great product, that does save you money. $40 might seem expensive, but they can last up to 12 months. Love!
Took me about three cycles to get it right, I had a small leak issue in the second cycle, but reading reviews such as this, blogs, and the leaflet included, I'm pretty happy with it now.
I never thought I'd have an opinion about a feminine hygiene product, but boy, do I.
The DivaCup has made my life so much easier. I used to soak through pads and tampons like crazy, ruining underwear and clothes all the time, but the only time I've ever had a leak with the DivaCup is when I was first learning to use it and didn't always get it positioned correctly. Because my period is extremely regular, I can actually put the DivaCup in the night before I expect my period and wake up without leaks or surprises. Try that with a tampon! (Actually, don't.)
It's incredibly comfortable, and so much less expensive than pads and tampons (over time). I've been using the same cup for more than two years, so that initial $35 spend has saved me about $200 so far, especially since that one cup has taken the place of, oh... 700 tampons and counting?
True, there's an "ick" factor to get over at first, but no longer worrying about leaks or smells (because there's no oxygen getting to the fluid to create a smell in the first place) far outweighs the initial "ick" for me.
I have been using a Diva Cup for about 7 years and can't imagine going back to using tampons or pads full time! Unfortunately, I have a very heavy flow and have to empty the cup every 1 - 2 hours on Day 1 & 2 of my cycle but that's okay with me. I do wear a liner or light pad as back up during Days 1 - 3 but tampons always leaked anyway so I also had to have back up when I used those.
The DivaCup.. best invention every .wouldn't go back to using pads or tampons full time any more .this really change my life around so much .would recommend this to all women .
