Perfect Cleanser that's Non-Drying

When I found out that the Face Shop collaborated with AVON on some of their products, I was so ecstatic. I had my eye on their “Rice Water Bright Foaming Cleanser” for quite some time. What I didn’t know was that when I received my cleanser from the Avon rep that I normally deal with was that this cleanser is 300 ml. Wow!!! For $15 cdn that’s an amazing deal. Normally cleansers I use are about 150 ml and you only need a pea sized amount for a good lather. This one works the same if not better.

I first tried this cleanser when I received a bunch of foil samples when I usually order online from Jolse Cosmetics. I instantly fell in love with it!!! It foams up quickly and once you rinse it off it leaves your face feeling amazing, not tight or dry like some cleansers do. I have dry combination skin so it never irritated and never broke out my skin either. Some cleansers sting leaving your eyes burning but this one doesn’t. My skin is left soft, smooth, and well hydrated. I think this would be perfectly suitable and for all skin types. It’s the perfect cleanser for your winter regimen.

A good cleanser

I bought this cleanser as part of a promotion - it came with two face masks and a make up remover. I though this cleanser was good, it really removed dirt from my face and any left over makeup, but I found it a little harsh on my skin. My skin felt dried out overtime as I used this product, so I highly recommend using a good moisturizer overnight.

Great cleanser

I really like this cleanser, it is at a good price point, it isn't harsh on my sensitive skin and lasts quite a long time. I definatley recommend this cleanser

I really like this product. I use it when I shower at the end of the day, and I use it in conjunction with the konjac sponge it came with. You don't need alot of it to clean your whole face. It does have a pretty strong scent that I am not too fond of but I really do enjoy the way it makes my face bright, clean, and soft!!!

I used to use this when I first started using Asian beauty products and boy, little did I know about skincare. This cleanser is high fragrances and has a high ph level. The higher is your product's ph level, the dryer your skin becomes. When it's too alkaline, skin may even become sensitive or causes eczema. The ideal balance would be a ph level of 5.5. This cleanser made my skin so dry after each use that I thought it really cleansed my skin well. Nope it simply means it is not meant for my skin and I need to change cleanser. As a result, I used the rest of the cleanser as a travel body wash. My body seems to like it better than my face.

Skin type: Combination/Sensitive

I bought this cleanser in a set including the Konjac Cleansing Puff and two rice sheet masks. I use this cleanser to wash my face in the morning and to remove my makeup at the end of the day.

You really only need to use a pea sized amount to clean your whole face. I use the Konjac Cleansing Puff with this cleanser, and honestly, when used together, the Cleansing Puff and the Cleanser leave my face brighter, squeaky clean and extremely soft and smooth. When I use this in the morning, I find that it evens out my skin tone and reduces the look of my pores (to the point where I don't need to apply foundation!) and keeps my face oil free for at least 5 hours. It doesn't dry my skin out either, which is amazing!

I have tried the Boscia Purifying Cleansing Gel and many drugstore cleansers (Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, St. Ives, etc.) and this is honestly the only cleanser that brightens, softens, mattifies, and deeply cleanses my skin without making me break out. I highly recommend!

P.S. The smell is lovely as well! A fresh, sweet scent.
