    An amazing book that highlights the science behind cooking.

    I was SO excited to hear that Kenji Lopez was publishing a book - I follow him on Serious Eats and take his cooking advice seriously. He has a scientific background and this marries so well with his love of cooking. The cookbook is 1000 pages and is more writing than recipes - this is definitely for people who love learning about the how and why behind their favourite recipes. I have learned SO much from this book; I have been reading through it chapter by chapter. He will often experiment by doing the same recipe many times over and leads you through all the results. I recommend this cookbook to anyone who likes their science as much as they like their cooking!
