Ever since "The Girl on the Train", many of these female-oriented "copy-cat" thrillers have been released. While many of these truly disappoint, "The Girl Before" stands out from the rest. The story grabs you right from the first two pages and the story line is enough to make you question yourself. (A girl signs up to live in a state-of-the-art abode owned by a renowned architect and on very strict conditions that she must live by. Throughout her living experience, she finds her experiences to be oddly similar to the previous tenant of the home, 'the girl before').

I was so absorbed by the book and in so much anticipation in finding out how the story ends, which by the way, does not disappoint, that I finished it in one night.

Definitely recommend if you're looking for a good, easy, fast paced read!
