A very good, mid range Scotch.

I was given a bottle for Christmas and I was quite surprised to see how much I enjoyed it. I love Scotch and do enjoy a lower priced one for "everyday". This one is smooth and has been described as "easygoing". It's an easy Scotch to get into; I think it would be an excellent starting point for someone looking to get into whiskies. All in all, mild and enjoyable. Definitely worth a try for someone looking for a decent priced Scotch.
