I use to listen to Tears for Fears as a high school teenager. It would drive my Mother nuts! I've always loved listening to their songs. I didn't know they had this 1 out. I will have to find it in a vintage store I guess. It would be nice for my collection.

Well, I suppose it depends on the style of music you like. Music is incredibly an incredibly subjective topic.

Tears for fears is a band well-known for it's depressing music. Some have claimed this is the saddest album ever made. I disagree. The term 'depressing' refers to something that makes one incressingly sad. This music, however is good for coping with sadness. Though relief is temporary, the first track 'the hurting' is quite interchangable for different causes of emotional issues, and provides a sense of being emotional aware of oneself.

The album is an emotional expression turned into rock with elements of pop (such as being able to dance to it). The artists did a very good job of creating this music. The album as a whole is far less depraved then many eighties bands who also tried to convey similar moods.
