A gentler version of retinol

The Inkey List's Bakuchiol is where I have started my retinol journey, as I have dry skin which can decide to be sensitive at times. I decided to stick it in the anti-aging night cream category because that is essentially what this is billed to be, as this is supposed to be a moisturizer. It doesn't work very well as a moisturizer, it's not strong enough for that. I use it more as a serum and follow it up with a better moisturizer. But as an introductory retinol-alternative product, it does work well. The price is fabulous.
