One of the best drugstore cleansers

The INKEY List take the complicated jargon out of skin care yet they deliver some of the most effective ingredients to drugstores such as Boots. They have a friendly price point too, like the Ordinary that have a similar jargon busting ethos.

Most brands would charge £30-£40 for this Oat Cleansing balm but this Inkey List Oat Cleansing balm is priced around £9 or £11. Unlike other cleansing balms this cleanser's in a tube not a jar, but it's what's inside that will have you amazed. A gentle yet effective make-up dissolving formula that will be tough on waterproof mascara and eyeliner yet gentle on the skin's barrier. This Oat Cleansing Balm cleanses effectively without leaving skin feeling dry or tight.

effective for makeup and spf removal

A tiny dime sized dollop is all that's really needed to cleanse your face.

It has a gel like consistency and doesn't have a ton of lather or foam up when cleansing.

It contains 3% oat kernel oil which helps your skin maintain your skin barrier; and 1% colloidal oatmeal which helps to reduce redness and soothe irritation.

This cleanser did not leave my skin feeling overcleansed and tight, when using this to remove makeup or SPF at the end of the day. I found it worked for me best this way. In the mornings, I generally stick to a milk cleanser because my skin is on the drier side to begin with.

I love that this cleanser is fragrance free, vegan, cruelty free, and a really affordable option!
