I really loved this book because it's non-fiction that reads as effortlessly as a fictional novel. It's also very informative, and I gained a lot of new insight about Amazonian exploration which I never knew before. It was very eye-opening, at at times disgusting (the bugs!), and widened my perspective on the things our forefathers did to gain knowledge about the world. A very good read, especially for anyone interested in the Amazon, adventure, and history!

Great book! This is non-fiction that reads like fiction, so you get great information while being completely enthralled. It's about Percy Fawcett, an Amazonian explorer, and his son who go in search of the lost city of 'z' (something like el dorado or the first point of civilization). Extremely interesting and captivating, would recommend for any history buff!
