cookies are good but terrible customer communication

The cookies were good -gazelle horns (those these were soft and a little underbaked and I thought they'd be crisper) pistachio sticks, fig, tweesats but a bit pricey at $75 for 60 cookies (shipped) They arrived a little melty and the pistachio sticks crumbled and broken. There was no padding, just plastic sleeves in a box with paper holders for the fig ones.
The worst thing though was that the day after I ordered I went to the website and it said they were temporarily closed. What? And for how long? I should have received a notification when I ordered that they'd be closing the very next day. I could not contact them. For that day and after I finally received my order a month later there was no way to reach them by email or phone. The emails all bounced back saying the inbox was full. I ordered for an event that I needed them for in a couple weeks and the site said they ship out in 3 to 5 days. When I saw they closed I thought surely they're working on the order I put in before they closed? No. I heard nothing and received nothing for a month. They should have advised customers of any changes and given the option to cancel or postpone the order. Unbelievable. Will never order again. Terrible communication.

Yummy Moroccan Sweets
