Mixed review

I purchased this product for my hair as recommended by their website. It is a light oil and feels nice when I put it in my damp hair. The only complaint I have is that I have noticed significantly more breakage on my ends on the days that I use it. I wonder if it’s maybe best to stick to using it on your skin.

good to keep a bottle in winter

absorb quickly. This oil doesn't irritate or cause pimples, and is good for harsh winters to prevent skin from getting cracky. I use it at night during winter sometimes. a bit oily but i don't mind. the second day you'd wake up with smooth skin.

Love love love this!!!!

I use this every other night as an extra layer of hydration. When I wake up in the morning my face is always super supple and glowy! Does not cause me to break out or leave an oily film. Just takes a few minutes to dry.

Cheap & Effective

I absolutely love this and my skin could not live without this.I live in Toronto but at times it can get really cold, and the winds can get really harsh on my skin. I use this AM + PM and I wake up every morning with soft skin. My skin is very dry and I do have eczema, but this oil does not cause any flare ups. One bottle lasts me a year and I use it year round (sparingly in spring and summer.) Also The Ordinary has an amazing return policy so if it doesn't end up working out, you can always get a refund within a year!

Awesome moisturizer

The entire Ordinary skin care line is amazing..not only for its effectiveness but also for its value. Its plant derived with no added crap and it's such a reasonable price. It keeps my face hydrated and feeling smooth

Beautiful all purpose oil

I don't have super dry skin, so wanted something light and nourishing to lay down under my foundation in the morning and layer over my actives and serums at night. This does the job beautifully! My skin drinks it up and it doesn't break me out like other heavier oils have in the past. I've also used this oil on the ends of my hair and seen great results. Love it!

Keeps dry skin hydrated during winter.

I have really dry skin, especially in the winter (I live in Toronto). This oil based moisturizer keeps my skin so soft and hydrated. It's super affordable and small enough that you can travel with it. I use it in the winter sometimes twice a day and put it on before bed in the summer. My skin is so soft!!!

less comedogenic than jojoba

This oil is a great basic oil for mixing with anything and everything. It offers hydration and combines well with other oil based products nicely. I mix with the antioxidant range from TO - though I can imagine this mixing nicely with foundation as well. I also use it on top of the niacinimide and the ascrobyl glucoside to get rid of the stickiness, and it works well for that. This is also great for sensitive skin users, as it is pure squalene, and has no detectable smell. It is a relatively light oil that absorbs relatively quickly.

Face oil

It's a good light oil to use on the face. It's lightweight one. It protects my skin so it's stay hydrated. Buying it from the company The Ordinary has been amazing. It's under 10 $. I strongly recommend it.

Such an amazing product!

I bought this per recommendation by Deciem and I absolutely loved it! My skin was so dehydrated so I decided to give it a shot in combination with a few other products and it has seriously worked wonders. I love the way the product goes on your skin and leaves such a soft texture. What's nice is it doesn't have a strong scent like some other serums I have used before. It also doesn't take long to dry too which is nice for when I have to do my make-up in the morning.
