First anti wrinkle product I've used that works

I've tried much every under eye cream on the market to try to reduce my crows feet and nothing has really worked. I read about Retinol last year and decided to give it a go. I read scores of reviews couldn't believe how cheap this one was compared to some of the more pricey brands that had a lower percentage of retinol. More importantly, it actually works! Honestly and truly I haven't been able to stop looking in the mirror! I feel so much less self conscious

Best product ever

When first using this product use alternate nights to gauge your skins reaction then build up to using nightly. After about a month of nightly use you can actually see the difference in your skin. Looks renewed. Great price and great product

Awesome retinol with little irritation

This is a fantastic product. The full benefits of retinol with very little irritation. The effects are visible. After using it at night, skin feels refreshed and bright in the morning.

Unbeatable Value

I absolutely love The Ordinary. No fuss, no expensive campaigns (that we as customers pay for in the end), no expensive jars/tubes/pots. Just plain fantastic, hard working products in sleek, scaled back packaging.
AND the products work, I have a whole range in my bathroom and this is a retinoid that beats many much higher priced products on the market.
I use it every night and it has truly helped with sluggish cell turn over, spots (though you can break out more first couple of weeks as everything is brought to the surface) and pigmentation - not to mention fine lines.

I had been using murad's youth serum for several years but at 100$ a jar every few months, it was breaking the bank and I was looking for a retinol that was cheaper but wouldn't break me out. I came across this brand and was amazed and how great everything works and how cheap it is!! I hope they never discontinue because it's my new holy grail!!!

Acne scarring

I have acne scars as old as 6 years old and for those this product didn’t do anything for them, but for my more recent scarring it definitely helped lighten them. I like to use this on a fresh face before the rest of my serums and moisturizer.

Amazing product

I was recommded this product by a friend and so glad I tried it. I have seen major improvements with my skin. I hate spending huge amounts of money in skin care products and not seeing result. This is price right and it works.

Best bang for your buck!

The ordinary advanced (now renamed granactive) retinoid 2% solution has a light cream consistency and absorbs quickly into your skin. It comes in a hygienic droplet bottle with UV protection so you know that the product will keep fresh for a year, as promised. You only need a little bit (3 drops) to cover your entire face. I use it as the first step in my skin care routine after washing, followed by facial oil then cream. You may experience some breakouts for about 1.5 weeks after initially applying the solution, but after that, your skin clears up, glows and feels rejuvenated!!! For this price, you cannot go wrong. I highly recommend!

Actual miracle worker

I’d heard so much hype about The Ordinary and really wanted to try this despite my fear of my skin purging and reacting to the introduction of retinoids. However, this product is SO GENTLE. Even for a Retinoid rookie, there was no burning or tingling. The texture was wonderful, and no unpleasant smell. And my skin is noticeably smoother and brighter- i’ve Been getting loads of compliments. So glad this is also so reasonably priced and Canadian to boot!
