I have been using The Ordinary's Alpha Arbutin since March 2019 (Currently writing this in Feb 2020). I am an Indian gal with the classic pigmentation issues of a person of colour. This product in combination with The Ordinary's Niacinamide + Zinc, has healed and reduced my discoloration and my acne scars! My skin literally glows.

I have combination dry skin and my skin colour is Mac NC 44. I also have eczema on my face and use Alpha Arbutin when I do not have a flare up. It is very moisturizing and makes my skin glow from within.

A new favorite

I bought 3 items from The ordinary brand and I have come to use them everyday now. This has helped me so far! I got some hyperpigmentation on my face after I gave birth and so far ( 3 weeks) and I can see a difference! My skin feels all over in better condition and I will be picking more up soon!

After reading tons of reviews about this very affordable brand I thought I would give it a go, only a week in so not seen drastic results but have definitely seen an improvement to the scars left on my face from spots, I'm going to continue using it until I see further results

Would repurchase

I bought this product then they had their 23% off sale this November. Thought I give this a try. Claims that it reduces the looks of spots and hyper-pigmentation. My skin has always been blotchy since my mid-teen years and there are constant acne scars coming and fading. This really did help and I did see that my skin looks a lot better then ever have been in a long time. I did make a mistake of using a glycolic face wash, The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution and this product all at once and that was a big no no. The next morning my face was red, felt hot, and unconformable and started peeling for at least 3 days. Remember to only use 1 acids in your morning or nightly routine. You don't need to use that much only a few drops. I have been using this for a month and a half. There is still 9/10 of the bottle left. I definitely recommend giving this a try.

Reduced spots and looking smooth

The DECIEM THE ORDINARY Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA product works like a charm. This serum does take time to really notice a difference, thus I waited after 2 months before I provided my review of this serum from the Deciem collection. It is a great product if you have spots/hyperpigmentation on your face that you want reduce, it won't disappear unfortunately.I highly recommend because it is a concentrated serum that does its job (my spots are almost invisible and skin looks even), also keeps my face soft/smooth as well and all for an affordably good price. It has simple and few ingredients which is great as well!

A must for hyperpigmentation

Been suffering from acne scarring for a while, and am so happy I discovered The Ordinary as it has helped my skin so much. Use the Alpha Arbuting serum every day with a retinoid serum at night and it has improved the condition of my skin + new spots practically no longer come up on my skin, so am happy and will repurchase to carry on with the healing!
