Good for those on a budget
This serum is great for those on a budget and looking into anti-aging serums, but it could be improved. The value is amazing and the quality of the ingredients is high, but the texture is tacky and leaves a sticky film on your skin that never truly seems to sink in. It didn't hydrate my skin like I hoped and after going through two bottles I didn't notice any difference in my skin tone or texture. This might be one of those products that you have to stick to religiously for a long time. This didn't break me out or irritate my skin, but it didn't really do anything either so I'm switching it out of my routine for a more targeted, effective serum. Wish so badly that the formula was slightly more elegant considering it's one of the Ordinary's most expensive products.
Noticeable positive results
I used this as a serum after toner and before moisturizer every night for a month and it has made the biggest change to my skin out of any serums I have used in the past. I would wake up with plump and soft skin every morning, and over time it smoothed out my complexion, and gave it a healthy glow.
TO Buffet Is Amazing for Aging Skin!
Initially overwhelmed and confused of each separate key ingredient and reluctant to undertake a complicated, multi-step AM/PM skincare regimen, I searched reviews by Dermatologists, make-up artists and in some wonderful beauty-oriented Facebook groups and thought I’ve try The Ordinary. “Buffet” is a wonderful, simple peptide serum that glides on smoothly and quenches your complexion. Simply apply it am and pm after cleansing, then add any other moisturizer on top. For only $6.80 with the highest quality ingredients and a wonderful clear, smoothe texture, adding this one little extra step to your beauty routine will show results in just a few days.
Perfect for oily skin
This serum is great. I have oily skin and this product makes my skin looks hydrated without that oily aspect. I was always afraid about serums but this one is constantly in my skin routine.
Doesn’t lay well
I believe in this product even though I am not sure if it does something for my skin. For the price it’s worht the try. The problem is the texture, does not work well with other products, it looks like it just sit on top of your skin and if you try to lay other products or makeup on top of it, it will start to peel. Besides that, I believe it helps a bit with lines.
A bundle of goodness.
This serum of the Ordinary is a bundle of goodness in a bottle. It is a combination that works for hyper pigmentation ,pore tightening and for dark spots.
Would totally recommend
I have always wanted to try The Ordinary skincare products because of the many positive reviews online. I bought The Buffet and I can totally get why so many people love it. It works great on my oily skin too and the product is absorbed immediately after applying. And for that price, I don't feel like I'm breaking the wallet
The best anti-aging product!
Most of my skincare regime is care of The Ordinary, and “Buffet” is in constant rotation! There is just no disputing the value for this product and I have had great results. Particularly through hormonal changes (6 months post partum), I always get compliments on my skin! This is a life saver!
Usually love their products...
This wasn't the holy grail I expected but maybe I was expecting too much.
I have loved every other The Ordinary product I've tried. I like this serum and I'm glad I tried it but I probably won't purchase it again. I don't feel I'm getting noticeable results. I think next time I will try the one with copper peptides.
Buy buy buy
It’s good, for the price of under 20, it’s a serum for face that prevents fine lines and moisturizes! What else would we ask for? Go try it’s you will notice what I am saying!
