This has changed the game for me!

I am totally obsessed with how amazing this has made my skin look and feel. For years I have found every type of exfoliator I've tried to be way too harsh for my skin. But this is perfection! It's so effective ! LOVE IT!

A wonderful gentle exfoliate

This is a great acid if you have sensitive or dry skin. I have oily skin and found it a little weak for my skin. Lactic acid is already slightly hydrating but the additional of 2% hyaluronic acid helps as well. This product is very affordable like all The Ordinary products and lasts for a long time.

My favourite alpha hydroxy acid

I love this!! I have noticed a huge difference in my skin since starting it. My skin is glowing. I use it 3 times a week at night only. If you are new to acids, I wouldn't begin using this more than than once or twice a week. Build up to 3 to 4 weekly treatments. It's really not necessary to use daily and it could strip your skin so be conservative with it.

Game changer!

This is a must-buy if you suffer from keratosis pilaris, those so-annoying bumps that crop up in places like upper arms and backs of thighs. I've purchased lactic acid to combat my arm bumps before, and found it to be way too harsh -- the resulting chemical burns were not cute. The Ordinary's take on lactic acid exfoliated my congested skin while still being gentle. I use it after showering and saw results almost overnight. Great product, great value, and a definite repeat purchase.

Great chemical exfoliant

I have been using this for a little over two months and my skin has done a 360. I had breakouts, major dark spots and hyperpigmentation and nothing seemed to work. After just a few days my breakouts got very small and after about a month I saw genuine results on my hyperpigmentation. Definitely recommend. The price is great and the bottle hasn’t finished after 2 months!!! Getting great use out of this.

Not Ordinary

I found The Ordinary products through Well.ca, and after doing some research on their products I purchased the Lactic Acid,plus some of their other serums. The price point is great and the results speak for themselves. My skin has never looked better! I now use about 5 of The Ordinary Products. I will definitely continue using these products.

Get past the smell cuz it works

I discovered The Ordinary from a website called Well.ca about 3 years ago. They were so affordable I could not pass up Lactic acid and Matrixyl at under $7 each.
I saw the difference right away with how my skin texture was changing.
The smell is unpleasant so I save it for bedtime. You wash it off in the morning and you feel like a layer of skin renewed. It's tacky after putting it on. Goes on clear. Putting a moisturizer or serum over skin is a pleasure. It soaks in much better. I use it once a week with Matryxl and Buffet.
Glad to use The Ordinary in my routine. It's budget friendly and effective hands down.

Best Alternative to Peeling Solution

I wanted to get the peeling solution from this brand but it’s not available here. So, I read online for alternatives and this came up after glycolic acid. I’ve been using glycolic acid for a long time and I need something to peel rather than exfoliate. So I bought this and tried it out and so a visually difference in a week. My acne scars( not severe but visible) were almost not visible. I think if I keep using this I would see a major change in my acne scars

Best addition to nighttime skin routin

This product is truly amazing. I have pretty sensitive skin and I started off with the 5% acid solution. I definitely got red bumbs and my akin got a little uncomfortable with this acid exfoliant but i let my skin get used to it for a few days and it slowly adjusted. Now this acid solution is a definite addition to my night time skin routine.

Skin saver!

I have extremely dry skin, and so this winter my skin has been rough, I started breaking out. I have already tried everything to help my skin from oils to moisturizer to treatments but nothing seemed to work so I saw online that this was really good and decided to give it a try and thank god I did! The first few days I didn’t see a change but after my skin was healing, glowing, soft, even my friends and family told me that skin looks beautiful. I can’t believe a 10$ product saved my skin!
