Can you have a love-hate relationship with a moisturizer?
I got this moisturizer as part of a The Ordinary value set. To be honest, I was actually after the niacinamide serum in the set since the individual bottles were sold out every where. This is the weirdest moisturizer that I have ever used. One day I'll put it on and my skin will feel super dry a few hours later. I'll use it a few weeks later and it will do the opposite and keep my skin hydrated all day long. I haven't been able to figure out why I am experiencing this inconsistency...is it the other products I'm using, is it other environmental factors, is it the season? I dunno know...lol. The formula itself is very pleasant. It is fragrance-free and has kind of a soft whipped feel to it. It absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't leave it feeling greasy. For less than $8 a tube, I do recommend people to try it out since it's a risk worth taking.
not my go-to moisturizer
I have used this moisturizer for nearly a year and I must say I don't think I noticed any effect on my skin. It did not harm my skin, of course, but I can't say it did any good either. I have used other moisturizers who indeed felt more hydrating and my skin feel soft.
This is one of the products from The Ordinary I can absolutely take it or leave it. The price is unbeatable though, that is why I may still repurchase in the future.
👍
really good just not as moisturizing as i wish it would be because it’s not greasy or anything at all it’s just not moisturizing enough for me personally
I like it!
This was a nice moisturiser to use, but I found that you needed to work it in a little bit more into the skin than other moisturizers. It's quite thin in texture but also has Hylauronic Acid to help keep that hydration.
A good cream to lock everything in
Many of you had asked me on my thoughts on The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors+ HA. This cream is made with multiple amino acids, ceramides, glycerin and hyaluronic acid to just name a few of the components. It is vegan, alcohol free, oil free, silicone free and cruelty free. .
Swipe left to see a texture shot. This is a THICCCC cream that you can easily warm up in your hands. I slowly pat the product into the skin and absorb nicely. However, it does not for oily skin during warm days. I do end up looking like a grease ball. I would say it is a good night time cream to lock in all your serums. Totally affordable and comes in 2 sizes 30 mL and 100 mL. It does not set off my sensitive skin but it doesn't help it either. I may not be repurchasing this unless I need a good cream to lock in all my skincare steps.

Indifferent, it's a cream
I love The Ordinary products in general, extremely good value! As for this particular product I'm indifferent. The price is good, but the size of the bottle for a daily moisturizer is kind of small. I also don't find it to be particularly moisturizing...I limit to using this a couple times of week because it makes my skin red?? That could be due to sensitive skin and using other acids and serums, but I'm not sure. If you get it part of their value pack then go for it, but otherwise don't buy it separately.
Great
I do really like this moisturizer. For the price, it is a pretty incredible no frills hydrator. I like the results, but I have found other more expensive moisturizers have been a little bit better for my very dry skin.
Overall, I would use this and would recommend this to anyone with pretty normal skin. If you have oily skin or are prone to breakouts I would skip this one as six of the ingredients are known to promote fungal acne growth so, just something to look into if you want to try this moiturizer.
Good Skin Care Product
This product does work well with combination skin. It is a medium weight product, Not making skin oily or greasy. Can be used all year round Blends well with other products.
Eh
Dry/dehydrated skin, sensitive and eczema prone. I live in a dry and cold climate. Was excited to try this out because its around ~7$ CAD and you get 100 mL of product- such a good deal. The texture is fluffy? but thick at the same time. I use this as a layer with my other moisturizers, but it's not hydrating enough for my skin in the winter. I keep one in my backpack and use this during the day when I feel like my skin is flaky.
