Loved it but then...

First time buying this product last year in February. I used it everyday on my whole face from Feb '17 - Sept. 17' my face became brighter, acne scars were gone, took away oiliness, less breakouts... my face became clear. After I ran out of my first bottle, I ordered a new one which took almost a month to arrive, therefore, I stopped using for 1month and my face became super dry, itchy and red. When I received the new bottle, my face was still irritated and I had eczema flare-ups on my face. I would definitely recommend this to people with oily acne prone skin, not for those who have eczema as this will definitely dry out your skin with prolong use. But for other skin types, it's better to use this with a rich moisturizer to prevent your skin from drying. Really great cheap price and will last you a long time too.

I have recently discovered this product and I have been loving it! I use it day and night on my acne prone skin and it has not caused any dryness or irritation. And the best part is that my breakouts have been getting less frequent.

Good for acne-prone skin

I bought this because it was recommended to me as being good for acne-prone skin. Even though I am in my late 30s, I still break out and I hate it. So I decided to give this a try. I just went through my first bottle. My skin definitely experiences far fewer breakouts since using this product. They are not gone completely but they do not occur nearly as often and are less severe. And, it is cheap!

This has been helping with the Salicylic Acid to get rid of blackheads and blemishes on my face. I use this only in the nighttime as I also use a vitamin C serum that I only use in the morning as they should not be combined. I have seen an improvement in my skin and would recommend trying it.

Great for Dull Days

I alternate this product with a few other Ordinary serums, but use this typically 1-2x/week, or as needed. This serum is great for when my skin feels dull and when I notice some spots coming up. Note that you'll have to let this serum sink in for a few minutes, as this product has the tendency to pill in conjunction w/ any remaining skincare. I usually pat any products in afterward to reduce the pilling.

Have been using it at night before bed for two weeks as I find it a little sticky to use in the morning under makeup but so far it has been helping the texture and condition of my skin, getting a lot less breakouts and skin feels smoothed. Have been using after The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning solution.

Smooths skin at an unreal value

This has been great for keeping my skin texture nice and smooth. My roommate had a reaction to it so please do test it on yourself before rubbing it all over your face. For me though it’s great my skin texture is so nice and even and it’s super affordable. A little lasts forever too I’m still working on my first bottle a few months later!

Love this addition to my morning routine

I always apply this serum onto my skin in the morning before my makeup routine. It helps to minimize my pores. Niacinamide products used to be difficult to find and expensive. This one definitely is easy in the wallet.

Great budget serum

I started breaking out like crazy once I was pregnant. Since I was really limited in the products I could use, I turned to this one. I've been using it for about a week now and it's already made a difference! I haven't had any new blemishes appear and the old ones are slowly diminishing. And the price is shockingly low!

Since starting to use The Ordinary skincare line I will never turn back. Right off the bat I bought 3 of these the second they came back in stock. It makes my pores look smaller and face smoother. Its also been helping clear up my acne big time.
