Ordinary Niacinamide + Zinc Review
This product is great! I had a lot of redness from past acne and it really helped take away the blemishes. It's so lightweight, I love using it in the morning and night! I definitely recommend it! Great value!
Meh
I'm not sure what this actually does for my skin but I put it on every night and it makes my skin look pretty good in the morning and I have not had any breakouts using it so i keep putting it on.
Did not work for me.
Did not work for me personally but I know it's an HG product for many. Caused a lot of little break it's for me that didn't subside with time.
Definitely a great price point though.
Nice
Honestly, I think this could be a lot better. When I spread it on my skin it felt a bit heavy and turned white and foaming a bit. It took a long time to dry as well and kinda felt tacky and tight. But I think it works I might just need to wait a bit.
Nah
It didn't do anything for my skin. The Alpha Arbutin is way better and cleared up my skin. This acid doesn't do much and I don't reccomend it. By the way I have: oily combination, medium dark skin
Noticeable difference
I really do like this product. It keeps my skin clear and I believe it's helping with some tone/texture issues. I feel like I need to randomly take a break from it however from time to time.
On the fence
I'm really unsure about this. I admittedly don't use this with enough regularity to comment about its true effectiveness but I have yet to notice any visible differences from using this. I've had this dropper bottle for about a year now and I go through bouts of using it every week, and then forgetting to reach for it because I don't find that it does anything for me. I have very oily skin and this is supposed to reduce sebum. I haven't noticed any change in that department. All around, it just feels like I'm slathering slime around my face for no reason. I'm still intrigued by these formulations so I'll keep using the rest of the product and keep my fingers crossed for some kind of redemption with this one.
Good For Pores
I bought this for oil control as my t zone was really oily during the summer.
It really helps make my pores appear smaller and I only noticed a fraction of the shine I was used to seeing midday.
The formula is easy to apply and absorbs quickly.
Finnicky Formula
The formula of this is sticky and thick - not the most comfortable. The high concentration of B3 and zinc in this formula is what appears to mess with people's skin. I have used this and it has helped my skin, but also made it break out. I find that this works best mixed with something else - like the AG 12, or MAP, and more so as a spot treatment. If you don't struggle with acne or breakouts, you don't need this - and if you do, buyer beware. The price point is very nice, but the concentration might be too much.
Dana Masamra
I have used this product for around 6 months and for the first few months it was great. My pores were visably smaller and my skin’s texture was smoother, with less breakouts. But recently, my skin has been having allergic reactions of some type, with random red itchy rashes, but I never knew the cause of it. After stopping use of most of my skincare products, I realized that this was the reason I was having those rashes, and I don’t know why, maybe it’s because I have very sensitive skin. But it was overall a good product before the rashes began to appear.
