Takes a bit of time, but it works!

I was wary of buying it due to the complaints that it burns but I do not have sensitive skin so I didn't feel that at all. It tingled a bit when I initially applied it on my face, but in a good way. The texture is a little gritty and oily but I wouldn't say it's hydrating at all. My skin is on the dryer side and I need to use a moisturizer as well. I personally use it before bed every night and my skin is slowly showing improvements. The biggest downside for me is the smell. It's weird but you get used to it after a bit.

In 4 days and results could be seen

I use the vitamin c cream nightly, alongside other Ordinary products. Within 4 days of using it (just the cream as I like to test individually before mixing with other creams or serums) I could see a noticeable difference in the red marks caused by scars and especially spots. Be careful not to get it in your eyes as it stings lots! I also use the ordinary hyaluronic acid and it’s the perfect combo for me

A bit gritty

I am in my early 50s and am just starting to incorporate Vitamin C into my routine, I tried this because the price was right and it has no scent. I did notice my skin was brighter after using this product for a few weeks but sometimes the grittiness of this product causes slight irritation. If you have sensitive skin may want to avoid this.

Great vitamin C product to add to skincare

For the value of this product, it does a great job at fading dark spots. However, for sensitive skin types, I would recommend trying another product with a lower concentration or using it twice a week until you build tolerance. This is perfect to apply in the morning before a moisturizer. It doesn't leave skin feeling oily.

GREAT value for quality!!

I recently started to be more into skin care and The Ordinary skincare products are good beginner products! This cream-like product did wonders on my skin. It does have a very distinctive sting when you put it on your face that lasts... a good couple of minutes... AND it does have a grainy consistency due to the powder forms of Vit C..... BUT, the results are phenomenon. My skin now has a nice glow and smooth texture. I would recommend a hydrating gel right after the vit C because it will ease the stinging sensation. The powder will dissolve easier too....Highly recommend.

So I heard about this brand from a friend . It has changed my life .
I do not love this consistency of this product it is pretty viscous. But my skin looks sooo healthy . Everyone needs this

Life changing

So i didn't know much about skincare before but then i did my research and decided on a routine. I stated with this about 6 months ago and i hae already gotten 4 other people from circle on it. First this product is alittle bit grainy in consistency so it might not be for you but once get over this, you will see the magic. When I stated using it, my face tingled abit and I had some breakouts beacuse it was virigin to this. In a week it all disappeared and started seeing results. My skin has never been healthier, less breakouts, glowing and most of all one tone. I usually use it in the morning after cleaning then put on moisturizers and lastly sunscreen.

It works but I cannot stand the texture!

I was looking to add vitamin c to my routine because my skin needed a little help being a bit more even and bright. The texture is gritty but the consistency is a little greasy. I know it says it's oil-free so I'm not sure why it seems that way. It's okay for use at night but I can't use it during the day because it doesn't seem to sink into my skin. As a result, my bangs tend to soak up the product and become heavy and stringy during the day. No matter how I try to layer it, it just doesn't work for me. For reference, my skin type is combination. Usually oiler on the forehead and chin and during the winter it tends to be drier.

On the bright side, I have noticed that my skin is a little more even-toned. I'm not amazed so I probably won't buy this product once I've finished this bottle. And the search for a good vitamin c continues.

I just got this product and so far I like it. Price point is perfect!!!! Totally worth it’s money and more. It’s a bit watery and greasy when first applied, but slowly it sinks into the skin. I haven’t used it enough to say I’d it works or not, but I haven’t had a bad reaction so I quite like the product.

Not recommended for oily skin

In general I'm a fan of The Ordinary philosophy and I've bought some great products from them, but this one specifically made me regretful, the formula made my skin looks even more oily, not the ideal product for me.
