    Entertaining, page-turner historical fiction

Kate Quinn writes about WWII and the secretive wartime world of Bletchley Park in this immersive historical fiction novel. Debutant Osla Kendall (who is based a remarkable real person) meets fellow Bletchley Park recruit Mab Churt on the train in 1940. While working at BP, they board at the home of shy Beth Finch, a young woman with an unkind and demanding mother. Osla helps Beth get a position at Bletchley Park, where Beth proves to be very adept at code breaking work. But Beth becomes a suspected traitor and is committed to a mental health institution after a supposed mental breakdown. In 1947, Beth contacts Osla and Mab and the three women work to crack a code that will help them find the real traitor. There’s loads of romance and intrigue in this historical fiction page-turner.
