I read the Rosie Project and was so excited to read the sequel as the first novel was fun, quick paced and charming, with a different edge than most romantic fiction. I was not as impressed with The Rosie Effect. I found it very slow moving and lacking the humor the first had. I found the main character less interesting and quirky and more annoying and unrelatable. What made the character so interesting and different in the first book got taken to an almost extreme level in this sequel and made you not as interested in the outcomes of what happened to him throughout the novel.
If you've read The Rosie Project then definitely pick up this sequel! Just as quirky as the first one but more relatable topics have been added! In this sequel you can really see how the main character has developed since the first book! The only issue I have with this storyline is you can predict some of the outcomes which I find to be a bit annoying. Definitely worthwhile to purchase however!
