Really fun! Not our very favorite, but a lot of fun for kids
This game is probably better suited for kids, at least for repeated play. While we adults enjoyed playing it as part of our Game Night event, I think the fun for us was played out after a few turns fishing a mystery object out of the sock before the other team. Kids, though, would probably have a great time playing this over and over, and I think it would also be great for brain development for young kids. Lots of fun, though, especially for families!
The Sock Game
My daughter and I LOVED this game! It was so fun to play and also really easy to add extra pieces because the game pieces were so random. We played over and over trying to beat each other. I would recommend this game to other because it was super fun!
Wonderful family game
We recently bought this for our family game night and it was a big hit. We have an 8yr, 6yr and a 4 yr, who all absolutely loved it. It has a lot of little pieces so you have to be careful not to lose them or that no one puts it in their mouth if you have younger kids. We laughed a lot and really enjoyed ourselves. The strings in one of the socks were coming apart and poorly made but besides that its awesome.
Fun for Young and No-So-Young
My children and I played The Sock Game during family game night. I have teenagers, ages 14 and 16, and at first, they weren't sure if they would like The Sock Game. Once we started playing, we were all laughing and having a great time. The pieces are high quality and the socks are sturdy. My only complaint is that the neck of the socks were too small for my teenage son to reach into easily which handicapped his game play (much to his sister's delight!). I highly recommend this game for fun and laughs and I will probably buy it as a gift for other children.
Fun game with lots of pieces.
This Sock Game is fun but be prepared to constantly have to pick up pieces and regrettably step on them sometimes. This a 2 team game hence the 2 socks. The point is to find the items in your sock first i think :) You start off by splitting into teams and filling each sock with the objects. Then you spin the wheel and the first 2 people race to find the object. Whoever finds it first wins the point. There are variations to the game and you can even make up your own way to play. It’s definitely a versatile game and my kids for a kick out of all the cool objects. We will definitely have fun playing this over the holidays. You can have a lot of people play which is cool too. This is not a game for younger kids since they’re are a lot of small pieces!
Super Fun for the whole family!
The Sock Game comes with a sock, a spinner, score cards, and a bunch of different trinkets that you put into the sock. First, you split into 2 teams, then you fill both socks with identical trinkets. After you get everything ready, someone spins the spinner. Whichever item the spinner lands on, one person from each team reached their hands into their sock and blindly tries to find the item as fast as they can. First person that finds the item gets a point for their team. First team that gets 11 points wins the game. I received this game as a product to review from Family Rated. As soon as I got it in the mail, my partner's children were begging me to play it with them. The children are 10 and 11 years old. We had a blast playing this game. It is a simple yet entertaining way to to have to whole family spend time together. It's really hard these days to find something that will entertain the WHOLE family that isn't digital. I highly recommend this product to everyone.
Sock game!
What a great game for our whole family. We have 3 kids ages 7,6 and 3. All of us were able to join in on the fun of the sock game. It was quite simple. Spin the dial and have 2 players ready to find the item in the sock. My 3 year old loved it because usually our games are too hard for him to keep up but the Sock game gave him a fair chance. We loved seeing how competitive our 6 and 7 year old got when it was time to play against one another. It has been a great time with friends and family to play the sock game and we cant wait for the next family game night. Now hurry up and find the items! I received the Sock game for free.
This game was SO much fun. Great family game!
The Sock game is such fun. Although it's only a 2 player game (besides playing teams) just watching and waiting to play the winner is fun! I played the game with my 13 yr old son and we laughed so hard trying to hurry and find the correct object. We laughed even more when someone landed on "Wrong Handed" and we had to use our opposite hand. It was hilarious. We pulled out the wrong things so many times and it made us laugh even more. I highly recommend this fun game for you and your family. If you have enough people, teams would be fun. I am going to be bringing this to our family Christmas get together!
No Smelly Socks here
I loved this game as well as my kids. We and them have been playing it for days! My kids ages 8 and 6 ask to play it together. They enjoy racing each other to retrieve the item. The instructions are really easy making it fun for all ages. Hardest part of the game is the challenge of getting the right piece. The wrong hand and foot option is a nice way to change it up.
I could see even packing this game for a roadtrip. Everything is contained so no worry about a big board to make room for.
The only arguments my kids had were if there was a tie when they each pulled an item at the same time. Or when the spinner landed in the middle.
This is such a unique concept and I am glad to have been selected to review this with a complimentary game. This would make a great holiday gift.
Cute, fun game!
The Sock Game is a cute, fun little game! It is also very unique & interesting. My Granddaughters love it! This would make a great gift for any kid for Christmas or a Birthday!
