Meh
I know sheet face masks are all the rage these days or at least seem to be the new standard but I am personally not a huge fan of the concept - they never seem to fit my face right, I don’t know I just don’t like them much and probably wouldn’t buy one (I am more a clay or even paint on charcoal mask kinda girl, that being said I have pretty hardy, normal to dry skin, if you have sensitive skin I could see these maybe working for you or even being the best option) This particular one was a gift, so I can’t speak to price and the first The Face Shop product I have tried. The packaging was attractive and one cool thing was the mask was folded onto a separate cutout of the same shape so much easier to handle and unfold which I thought was a nice touch and attention to detail. The mask itself felt cold on my face (which I don’t like; I hate cold lol) so not for me; but if you are always hot or like cooling products could be great for you. I didn’t notice any scent either way, it was a thicker serum and I left it on for about 20mins (after washing my face) and it wasn’t fully dry but I did feel some tightening and tingling happening as I wore it. This mask actually fit better than most as I have a smaller face and most cutouts aren’t spaced right and the masks a touch too big, perhaps catering to the Asian market if we have smaller faces on average? I have no idea but that was good, except surprisingly the eye and mouth holes were a bit small for me, (I will NEVER post a pic of myself in a sheet mask lol sorry) just keep that in mind please if you like a little roomier cutout. I felt like it did have some benefit add some hydration but nothing spectacular or outstanding... If someone gifted me another I would use it, but not something I would go out and spend my money on and buy myself. #Beauty #Skincare #Junkie
