My first thought on trying on the Spartan Grip gloves are that for plus size or particularly large people you should make sure to size up! I measured and followed the guide and came out at a medium. Luckily only the extra large was available and I gave it a go and ordered those. There is a small bit of looseness around the fingers, but the wrap fits absolutely perfectly, so you'll probably need an extra large if you have plus size arms!

These gloves are super comfortable to wear for high intensity short workouts like I do, but I also find them handy for slower workouts like yoga when you're using weights as an aid. I have extremely sweaty hands, even when playing video games, so working out I was always worried about throwing my weights and breaking the TV. The rubber grips on the glove do a great job of helping you hold onto weights.

Be aware, the lower section is actually a velcro wrap that can be adjusted so if, like me, you tried the gloves on and immediately felt suffocated, that can be adjusted!

The only downside I can say is that the velcro can often get stuck and tug at the delicate fibres of the glove, making it appear messy or old quicker than I'd like, but it's a small price to pay to have a glove base that can fit all sizes of arm.

Would definitely recommend these to anyone working out with weights, I might even buy a second pair to keep a steady grip on my game controller in downtime!

    Pros:
    - Great Grip that helps you keep hold of your weights.
    - Non itchy.
    - Keeps moisture away from the skin well.
    - Comfortable.
    - Adjustable.

    Cons:
    - Fit guide is not accurate for all.
    - Velcro becoming stuck can be an annoyance.

I couldn't wait to try on these gloves when they arrived in the mail!

Upon glove inspection, these were no loose threads and they appear to be high quality materials.

The wrist support is actually a wrap (see pictures attached), so you can make it as tight or as loose as you want. I was a bit hesitant purchasing the Small size, as my normal wrist supports I use at work to type with (carpal tunnel prevention) as a Medium, and my biking gloves are normally size L or XL ladies. My palm from inner thumb to the other side of my hand is 3.5". The Small fits perfectly, and my fingers aren't constrained in the openings.

The fingers are easy to move within the glove, and my hands haven't sweat much with them on during my at-home Beachbody workouts. The bonus is, I was actually able to do regular push ups with these on once the wrap was at its loosest. If the wrap is tight, the bending motion of a push up causes the band to dig in. You can still feel a bit of a dig, so I wouldn't do 50 pushups in a row and expect the top of my wrist to feel fabulous, but for a normal set of reps, it isn't much of an annoyance.

Using the gloves for weight lifting also gave me a boost of strength!

The silicone bumps on the bottom of the finger grips definitely make it a lot easier to hold onto weights and workout bars without slippage occurring.

The lycra on the top of the gloves is nice and soft, and seems quite durable.

All in all, this is a great tool for any fitness junkie, especially those with weakened wrists like me.
