I am just about to start Book Two now, and I am happy I picked these books up. They are marketed to young adults, teens, etc, but of course so were the Harry Potter Books. The Time Travelers is similar to Harry Potter in that it is all about imagination and these 2 young characters, Peter and Kate get sent back to 1763 via a Gravity Machine that Kate's Scientist Dad and his Company are working on. It was just in the initial fases, and wasn't meant to have anything to do with time travel, but it happened. Peter and Kate go on a huge adventure meeting so many people from England in 1763, and learning about how they got there, how they can get home, and how they can control their "fading". They learn they can fade in and out back to the future and do it do give clues to their family and police officers who are frantically looking for them. Peter and Kate seemed to disapear into thin air.

It was a very fast read, as the vocabluary and grammar is about grade 6-7, but it didn't hamper the story. The writing was done very well and it really got my imagination going. I didn't even know how much time went by when I was reading. It is an excellent book and I am looking forward to reviewing Book Two and Book Three.

If your a history, England, wizardry, mystery, and have a big imagination, this is for you and your family. A great book to read out loud too. Thanks !! Enjoy.
