I absolutely love this book, one of my favorites. I couldn't put it down, all though I was disappointed in the movie as I felt they left out a lot, but that's really most movies based on books do.
I first read this book I grade 6 as part of an advanced reading class and fell in love! It was good back then and it still is. The chRacters are timeless and the story is so sweet that it's hard not to get attached.
This was such a beautiful story, that I still have kept the book several years after reading it. There are very few stories out there that have gotten me as emotionally hooked as this book did. I was about 15 when I read this book for the first time, and I believe this is a much more beautiful love story to idolize than a lot of the books girls my age were reading at the time. This story quickly got me hooked and I finished it over a day or two over my summer holidays. The movie did not do it justice - then again, everyone says that about movies compared to the books.
i had a real hard time following this book because it jumps so much. im wondering if they knew who they were when hed come back...like if he came back at a time before they met would she know who he was...anyway id rather be married to a truck driver as their schedules are more predictable
This was such a sweet story under all that fantasy about time travel. A real love story without all the graphic bedroom sex that some books insist on. I've passed this book on to my girl friend and so far she's really enjoying it. I also went to the movie and loved it.
I finally finished reading this. I don`t know why I waited so long to read it since so many of my friends recommended it to me. It`s a good thing though that I read this before I saw the movie because I was not impressed at all with the film.
The book really pulls you in right from the beginning. It was initially hard and confusing to keep track of all the dates and ages but once you get into the core of the story, you will not want to put it down. Having the story told from the perspective of the characters really helps you better understand their feelings and motives than if it was just written in third-person.
The last third and specially the ending of the book were tearjerkers. I only ever remember crying to a book when I read My Sister`s Keeper and Bridge To Terabithia. This is one book I will definitely re-read again.
This is one of my all time favorite books. the author pulls you in right away. I fell in love with these charachters and their plight. I was so sad when the story was over and I have passed the book on many times so that we could talk about it after they finished it.
I read this book a few years ago and loved it. Cried throughout the ending. It is a very good read.
It is an interested read but was not really crazy about it. Really didn't understand what was the purpose of going so much back and forth.
