Great Read :)
I started reading Ruth Ware books a couple months ago ...
And this was my favourite out of all her books. It does start off a bit slow and the main character is kind of annoying ...
But once the excitement starts, you get hooked into the story and you can’t wait to find out what happens...
Also the ending is very satisfying...
Enjoy !!!
I was a bit let down with Ruth's book, perhaps after reading The Girl on the Train, I had my expectations too high as people were comparing the two, and most said they were similar in suspense.
I couldn't fall in love with the main character 'Lo', I had zero emotion for her and her constant whining got old really quick. I found the plot to be a bit predictable at times, but I did find myself excited and guessing as the ending neared. The most disappointing part is the ending though, such a build up, and then bam, were done and I am left asking myself.. what the heck was that, thats it, such a let down.
This book started off just a little slow, but it is well worth sticking it through the first little bit. It had me after about 100 pages and then I couldn't put it down. A bit of intrigue, a bit of drama and a whole lot of suspense. I was so happy that I purchased this to take away with me on vacation!
Ruth Ware is a fabulous author. She had me completely enthralled in this book, wondering what was going to happen next and excited about the next twist. I enjoyed the book up until the ending which I found was confusing and a bit of a let down.
