Great for curved hems!

This is perfect for my twirly skirts and tops that have a curved hem! It allows for flat hems instead of rippled hems.

It easily tears to the length you require, and sits flat for ironing (make sure the iron doesn't touch the adhesive - fold the fabric over it THEN iron!).

I still stitch through the hem to give it a professional look, but I'm sure you can get away without topstitching - it will eventually deteriorate over a period of time without stitching.

This is definitely a new staple in my sewing kit!
