I am not a cook book collector, I own two and one of them being this book I bought last fall.
Louise Racine is a friend of my aunts, whom I had the pleasure to meet, she is the Owner of Thirteen Moons Wellness Center and is truly inspiring and I had to purchase the book. This book is a collection of vegetarian recipes that are quick, easy and often used with the vegetables that are in season, from her garden. This book offers tips, tricks on gardening, cooking and your health.
If you are fairly new to switching to a meatless diet, I recommend this book, it helps with an easier transition that wont leave you feeling like your missing something in your diet, plus you will discover how flavorful eating healthy can be and its full of meat alternatives.
My favorite dish that I make all the time is the Black Bean & Sweet Potato Stew, which is in my picture. My husband even likes it and he was raised on meat and potatoes.
