Historical fiction, one of my favorite reads. The characters are vivid and bright, just thinking about it now I can picture the story with the description of the clothes they wear, to the tiny details of their shoes. The way their hair was done. The houses, and carriages. The book just sucked me right in. It was one of those finds I stumbled upon and I fell in love with the book. Given the title I had no idea what it was about, but I was desperate to read a book so went for it and wasn't disappointed in the slightest.
