Great Treat
This is not an everyday thing we buy but is a nice treat to get a freshly made coffee. add a cookie or sour cream glazed to the order and dad and kids are happy. Great to have a cold canadian day.
Use to be great.
I use to work for Tim Hortons. After working there you have a bit more respect for the workers. This being said I use to drink coffee but now I drink tea. I found coffee gave me heartburn, but only Thier coffee. And their kcup pods don't, I don't get it!
Used to be the best
I used to love Tim Hortons. You couldn’t drive by one without stopping. Then I got a tassimo, Tim’s was still on top of my list. Over the last couple years I’ve noticed price going up and quality, taste and customer service going down. I can make a cup at home with my own coffee in less than 2 minutes that tastes better and is way way cheaper. Tim’s was awesome when it was Canadian then she sold out to the US and things went down the toilet!
Tim Hortons coffee used to be very enjoyable
Addicted lol Buy at least 2 a day. For the last 3 months tho I have been getting very watery dark roast which is terrible!! Have complained many times about it and have received free coffee but I would rather pay and have an enjoyable coffee!! These coffee's are purchased at the Stettler Timmy's only, have had no issues like this from any other franchise. I think I am going to have to over come my Timmy addiction and just stick to home brew or hit up McD's!!!!
Lost interest
I use to be a addict to Tim Hortons coffee.. maybe it’s just my personal taste that has changed but I now have to get a espresso shot added to my coffee in order for me to enjoy it.. even the dark roast. So since the espresso shot is an extra .70 cents, I hardly ever buy a coffee as it ends up costing almost $3.. maybe if they didn’t keep bumping prices up I may have never thought to try to just stick to home brew.
Usually good...
You can generally count on Timmies coffee being consistent wherever you go. However, regardless that I order it the same way 2ms, every so often I either get a bad batch of coffee or the order wasn't filled properly.
Cost wise... getting up there in the specialty coffee shops...
Ever Had it Black...?
Ok, now I know that people LOVE their Timmies coffee... but I don't think many people have to drink it black, and let me tell you.. that's a game changer.
I get the whole double-double love, but as someone who is lactose intolerant, I am stuck drinking this stuff black and it is awful.
The only way I can describe it is like ditch water. It is soooo watery and weak, it barely has any coffee taste at all. And what does come through taste wise is both bitter and gross.
Now, I know a lot of people think all black coffee is gross, but I ONLY drink my hot coffee black... so this isn't me just hating on black coffee. I love black coffee, but it has to have some taste! Tim Horton's is a real let down if you aren't a cream drinker.
Really not into it
We have stopped buying this coffee simply because it is not all that good. The taste is just ok but quite honestly for the price it is not worth it anymore. We buy better tasting coffee and have it at home. Tim's I think basically (from what we see here) is just a social hangout really where you pay a lot for your coffee just to socialize.
Not a bad price, but not very good.
I'm not quite sure what all the hype is about this coffee, but personally I don't find it very good. I do tend to like the lighter roast coffees so maybe that's part of the reason. The price of the coffee is fair though.
Not strong enough
Had an opportunity to try the new Dark roast recently and was terribly disappointed. Thought Timmys would be able to reinvent it's coffee but sadly it could not. The Dark roast is just that , dark , burnt, coffee. It's a good value if you are looking for a cheap coffee.
