Would I recommend Tim Hortons? I can honestly say if you have no better choices. I can really only enjoy a cup of this coffee when I am eating something, whether a donut or a bagel. I like my coffee with only a little milk and cannot drink a Tim's coffee as it is bitter and leaves a strong after taste. I prefer the McDonald's coffee.
I personally don't like their coffees, the original isn't great to me and I didn't like the mocha flavored coffee neither, to me personally they are way to bitter. Nothing against tim hortons but that's just my opinion.
While I do appreciate that it isn't overpriced, the quality of the coffee is not up to par if you are a bit of a coffee snob like me. I find, even the dark roast, to be weak and lacking that rich dark flavor.
I am disappointed....over the last year or so I feel the quality of Timmys has dropped. It's very inconsistent! I just don't want to pay almost two bucks for a coffee that is not great!
I find timmys way too strong and usually end up having to add much more cream and sugar to tame the taste. And a medium is way too small. I would not choose this coffee given other options. I also find it too pricey for the taste and quantity youbgetm
it's incredibly cheap.. which is probably why it doesn't taste very good, very bitter and burnt tasting usually, the odd time its okay, never exceptional but it is easy and it is low cost.
The Dark Roast is so much better than their regular brew.
Having Allergies, I can't get anything other than a Black Coffee. I do frequent the restaurant for coffee only. They use to have gluten free macaroons (cookies) but since discontinued them. very disappointing.
I used to really enjoy a nice cup of Tim Hortons coffee. However, as I've gotten older and learned how to enjoy the flavor of coffee (and not add so much sugar and creamer!) I've realized that Tims coffee just doesn't taste that great at all! I often think it tastes like an ashtray... no thanks!
Like i've mentioned in previous posts...
I AM a little biased when it comes to coffee products.
I have been fortunate enough to try QUALITY coffee overseas in Europe.
Coming back to Tim Hortons and North American coffee chains was a hard transition...it definitely doesn't have the same quality taste.
Tim Horton's is quick though....and cheap... And a kickstart to the morning when you don't want to spend 5-7$ on a specialty coffee elsewhere.
I'm not too big of a fan of Tim's coffee, though I can appreciate the low price and unique flavour. The cream and sugar makes the coffee; without it, it's a bit vile. Despite it not being the best quality, it's easy on-the-go and doesn't taste too bad double-double style.
