I love most Tim Hortons products but was not impressed with the new new new dark roast. It’s worth spending an extra $0.20 and going somewhere else. Keep working at it Tim’s. Third time is not a charm in this case. It’s flavourless, and watery. I’ll keep drinking your regular blend for now.

Dark Roast - Black, One Sugar

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of Tim Hortons coffee. I don't know if this makes me a bad Canadian, but sorry, eh. However, when I am at Timmy's and need a caffeine jolt, I do order the Dark Roast. The flavour is a lot more appealing to me, and I can enjoy it with just one sugar, the way I like it. Given the choice between Dark Roast and Original, I will choose dark 10 times out of ten.

We know the sizes are huge. We know the prices are fair. We know we all want Tim Bits. And if you're offering, I'll take a large Dark Roast, black, one sugar. Thanks.

Good coffee

Great coffee but they raise the price quite a bit. Not so more affordable now. Hoping they will lower and price back to original price. Always love dark roast coffee from Tim Horton. They are awesome.

Dark roast Timmy's

I haven't yet had a fresh tasting dark roast coffee. I absolutely love strong coffee and this is not strong at all!

What happened?

When the "new" dark roast came out I fell in love. I only drank Tim Hortons coffee out of necessity, but the improvements changed that and I kept going back for more. Recently I've found, however, that it doesn't have the same appeal. I don't know if they've changed back or if my Tim Hortons is just somehow messing up the art of coffee making, but I'm not impressed!

I'm not a big fan of Timmy dark roast , I do enjoy it once in awhile if there nothing else available.

I just don't find this coffee strong enough

This coffee is horrible. I'm not sure why Tim Horton's feels like they need to change their coffee. The original coffee is so tasty and satisfying. The dark roast is very bitter. I will. It order it again.

I don't like this. It's better that the regular brew but still tasted a bit diluted. I'll drink it if I'm really in desperate need of coffee. If you like good coffee that doesn't taste like water I would recommend the mc donald's one.

I am a coffee junkie. I mainly drink coffee for energy but I do enjoy a nice smooth coffee just for enjoyment once in a while. I've been told the darker roast has less caffeine than a light roast. I wanted to try the dark roast for its rich flavour but I found it lacking. Other coffee shops does a better job with its dark roast.

Meh ... Tim Horton's coffee is not good coffee at all. I think people simply buy Tim Hortons because of the price, and for the fact that it is so accessible. The taste however is pretty pathetic. This coffee often tastes burnt and stale. Don't waste your money. Spend the extra few cents and get a coffee from McDonald's; Much better!
