Classic goodness

Old fashioned plain donuts and timbits are the favorite with the 'big guy' in my house. He loves the little hint if cinnamon and the texture. "I'm not eating sugery air"! It is also one of the better options to keep his sugar levels manageable. They remind us both of our elders, and enjoying similar treats with our grandparents.

I love that they are a little denser, and the slight crisp on the outside. If they sit around a minute, they don't evolve into something for the round bin. They are great dunked into a fresh cup of Tim Horton's coffee.

My only complaint is that they sell out really fast, or perhaps some stores don't make them.

This doughnut never disappoints! Although I love trying new, exciting and bold menu items I have never had an old fashioned plain that I didn't enjoy! I find the hint of nutmeg and cakey texture very comforting. A true classic!

Oldie but a goldie

Call me boring but I am someone who definitely prefers traditional and original things on many new flavors..

Love the subtle hint of sugar in this. It's a simple donut and kills my sugar and donut craving..

Definitely my goto donut at Tim's.

I love this doughnut

I love the old fashioned plain doughnut, it tastes so good and not dry at all. If you have not tried this I recommend that you do. It is really moist and the texture is dense but in a good way, it is a cake batter type doughnut.
