A refreshing story

This book is great for readers to explore the ideas of racism prevalent in the 1960s. Although the main character is a young girl, there is wisdom behind her story that makes it so powerful and touching. Whether the characters are young or old, black or white, you will feel emotions and it will put you in their perspective of life.

excellent book, i would recommend reading it. But I personally wouldn't read it again and again
