good product

It was my first time trying something that is not name crest or colgate and it was not as bad as I expected.
The taste was good but I did not notice a real change whith the color of my teeths.

Great fluoride-free natural toothpaste!

I've actually purchased this product in the past and I really like it! It's a really wonderful option for those looking for natural and fluoride-free toothpastes, unfortunately, I require a paste that has fluoride in it because I have weak enamel. It'd be nice to instead try a Tom's natural toothpaste that has stannous fluoride, which is the type of fluoride recommended by my dentist for those with weak enamel.

Cruelty free whitening win!

A lucky week for me getting to try something through @chickadvisor and @thisisbutterly ! I have been a @toms_of_maine fan for a long time, and pretty much exclusively buy their toothpaste already because I've always appreciated their no animal testing policy and their fluoride-free options (although my husband won't use fluoride-free toothpaste, but I appreciate that Tom's has both!). I have never tried the whitening toothpaste from Tom's, so I'm glad I #gotitfree to try! Whitening toothpaste is not something I'd probably buy on my own, because an addiction to whitening strips a decade ago left my teeth whiter than a Pottery Barn but also stripped of enamel and super sensitive. I've been afraid to use whitening toothpaste ever since, but this one was super gentle and I didn't experience any added sensitivity from using it. Compared to other Tom's though, I have to dock one star because I don't LOVE the flavour. It's a little weak, like a watered-down peppermint that doesn't really leave a fresh mouth feeling. Other Tom's products have stronger flavour/scent, which I like (although a milder flavour might be a good thing for some!). However, if I was looking for a whitening toothpaste, I'd definitely use this one again over one of the typical brands, so you should also #tryToms !

Feels good on the teeth

I normally do not use Flouride Free toothpaste because I feel it doesn't clean my teeth as well. But Tom's of Maine is different. It smells and tastes really good. And it also cleans well without affecting my sensitive teeth. I did not notice a huge difference in whitening but my teeth are not discoloured so that's probably why. It did have a bit of a gritty feel to it which I am assuming is the baking soda. I will buy in future for sure.

Makes it easy to go natural

I love how natural and cruelty free this toothpaste is. It does take some adjusting too as it does not provide the same degree of clean feeling as the regular toothpaste does but after some getting used to, it still cleans my teeth very well.

Natural toothpaste fluoride free

This is my first time trying fluoride free / natural toothpaste. I’m skeptical of whether no fluoride toothpaste will be effective but i wouldn’t know until I continue to use this until I go to my dentist. Not commenting on effectiveness, this toothpaste had a good taste, a bit minty but not strong with another familiar flavour that I can’t describe. I was relieved that it made lots of foam while brushing just like my regular toothpaste. The only difference that I noticed was more bitter and less minty aftertaste. If you are looking for natural or fluoride free toothpaste, this is a good toothpaste. It would be better if it had stronger minty aftertaste so I feel like I did brush my teeth. I got this product for free in exchange for my opinion.

Excellent fluoride-free whitening alternative

I typically use another store-brand fluoride-free toothpaste that I pick up from a well-known and loved natural food store in the States. Since I haven't had a chance to trek over there in...oh, roughly 2 years...I was looking forward to trying this whitening toothpaste from Tom's. Tom's is a tried and tested natural brand that I've turned to in the past for other products. While I'm not keen on using fluoride-free toothpaste all year round, I do turn to this sort of product once in a while when I'm looking for a break and my contact dermatitis is flaring up (there are theories that this can be related to fluoride use). Also, as a result of working from home and picking up a daily latte habit in my kitchen each morning, my teeth have been looking a little more yellowed than usual and I'm looking to get things gleaming white again before my impending return to the office. So, this toothpaste fit the bill! The peppermint flavour was absolutely outstanding and a far cry from the artificial taste of regular toothpaste. This cut my awful morning breath dramatically and left my mouth with a fresh, tingly-clean sensation. It's difficult to say how aggressive it is on plaque - I don't generally get dramatic plaque build-up and I haven't been to the dentist since I started using it. I will say that my teeth look a little whiter since starting daily use....I can never be sure if it's in my head and reference before/after photos are only as good as their lighting. If I at the very least believe it's doing something, that's good enough for me, for now. The amazing sensation of clean that this leaves me with is alone well-worth its continued use.

Fluoride free toothpaste for adults

This is a great toothpaste for adults that want to have a fluoride free toothpaste. The peppermint taste left a refreshing breath, my teeth felt clean after a brush, and after using it for a week, I didn't have any sensitivity in my teeth from the toothpaste. This comes in a paste which I'm usually used to Gel, however it doesn't affect its performance, more of a personal preference. overall a great toothpaste!

Fresh and Natural Toothpaste

I was one of the lucky people who go to try Tom's of Maine Simply White Peppermint Toothpaste. I like that a natural toothpaste product option exists though I have not used fluoride-free toothpaste before. The consistency is similar to other toothpaste but I found it to be a slight bit runnier than some other brands I use. My teeth were left feeling clean and I like the peppermint taste. I didn't notice any difference in terms of whitening but I don't think I have been using the product long enough yet. I like that this product is free of artificial colours, flavours, fragrances or preservatives and that it's not tested on animals. I prefer cruelty-free products so this is a bonus for me. Overall a pretty good toothpaste that leaves your mouth feeling clean and fresh. #tryToms #gotitfree! #ProductReviewClub
