    Love them but...

Toms are great for quick slip on shoe. Trendy and comfortable. But they wear out fast if you do wear them almost every day. The price is a little steep but love the different prints

I purchased a pair of Tom's in size T5 for my 19 month old daughter and I love them. They are easy to put on. They have velcro opening on both sides so I just need to undo the velcro, slide them on, close the velcro sides and she's ready to go. The insole appears to be made of leather and is stitched into the shoe. Although the bottom of the shoe is thin it seems to be firm which is good cause I myself have a few pairs of flats with thin soles and it makes walking on rocks and other surfaces difficult and you definitely don't want that for a young child. The rest of the shoe is made of a pink canvas material with lots of sparkle and glitter. They look casual and comfortable. The best part is that for every pair of Tom's you buy they donate a pair to a child in need. I will definitely buy a few more pairs of Tom's for my daughter. I'm even thinking of getting a pair for myself as well.

Prix trop élevé ,mais tout de même confortable pour les pieds. Beau model ,mais le tissu se brise rapidement sur les souliers. Ne reste pas beau très longtemps dans les pieds.

I purchased these in the cream lace design and I absolutely love them. They are perfect for travelling because they are light, take up no room when packing, dry out easy when wet, wash great, don't cause blisters, and go with any outfit! My only issue is that because of the thin soles, they have zero support. I find my supination is exacerbated by these shoes unfortunately, so I recommend putting in a pair of orthotics or shoe supports so they last longer and don't mess up your feet.

Extremely comfortable shoe, perfect for the spring/ summer! Make sure to buy a size or half size smaller because they tend to stretch out a lot.

Toms are a great casual shoe. They go perfectly with so many styles. Available in a variety of colours and patterns to make them even more versatile. I find them very comfy and from day one have never had a blister. Price could be considered steep to some but they can take a beating and last forever. I've had one pair for three years now and they're still going strong. Have purchased 3 pairs since.

Blake Mycoskie, the remarkable founder of TOMS shoes is showing all of us how to make a difference.

Mycoskie started his company in 2006 because he wanted to do something to help children in impoverished countries who have no shoes to wear. The idea came after he visited Argentina and observed that without shoes, poor village children are susceptible to cuts and sores that are painful, plus dangerous if infection sets in. They also suffer from podoconioisis, a soil transmitted disease that gets into their systems through the soles of their feet and leads to very serious health problems. In addition to disease, Mycoskie noticed that barefooted children are not allowed to attend school. So he created TOMS, short for “Tomorrow's Shoes,” as a sustainable company with the important goal of donating shoes to those who need them. With every pair of shoes you buy, TOMS gives a new pair to a child in need.

TOMS Shoes are patterned after traditional Argentinean shoes. Often made of canvas with rope and rubber soles, they are light, airy and comfortable. There are 100 different styles, and many sell in the $45 range.

According to various media reports, to-date the company has provided over 600,000 pairs of shoes to children in the United States, South America and Africa. And if you thumb through celebrity magazines, you'll catch well known faces like Scarlett Johansson, Keira Knightley and Brad Pitt wearing their TOMS. You can find TOMS Shoes online and at Norstrom and Whole Foods.

I just got my Tom's today and i have been wearing them around the house. After just a few hours of wearing them, i already can feel them conforming to my feet. They are very comfortable and have some arch support. I got the brown ones in "chocolate" and i like them. I also have taken note that they have not made my feet smell bad so far. I will have to see when i wear them out and about more. I plan on wearing them with jeans and shorts, maybe skirts occasionally. A little pricey for me but it is for a good cause becase for every pair you buy, one pair is donated to someone who doesnt have shoes.
