I don’t know if it’s just my skin type, but this foundation did not work for me! It looked so cakey on my skin, and didn’t sit nicely with my pores. I’ve always heard such good things about this foundation and was so excited to try it but it just looked awful on my skin. I’ve tried it with primer, with setting powder, by itself, with moisturizer. I’ve applied with a brush, and with a sponge, and nothing is working for me.
Awful on oily skin
I've tried this foundation twice now, and both times promptly returned it. This foundation is infused with coconut water which is supposed to make it hydrating and long lasting, but instead it makes it slippery and slide all over your face! It oxidizes nearly instantly and within half an hour it's literally sliding off of your face. By the end of the day there is nothing left under my eyes or on my nose because it has moved and clumped on my face. I've tried it with five different primers on underneath and nothing can make this foundation stay. I'm sure it's great if you have skin on the drier side but do not even ATTEMPT to use this if you have even slightly oily skin!
I don't like it
This foundation is not for me. I have a combination skin and after few hours of applying, it oxidized on my skin. I used it together with Too Faced primer and my face looked so yellow and oily. I returned it to my local Sephora the next day. Lovely packaging though.
Major Bummer
I was so excited to try out this foundation after watching reviews on it. Unfortunately, it did not work for me.
It settled into every line, crease, and pore. It made my skin look worse. I have drugstore foundations that work WAY better. Super disappointed.
There is a lot of hype around this foundation, I've tried it a few times now and it just never seem to work with my skin. The first time I would get an amazing finish to my skin, looked amazing and then 3 hours later I was an oily mess. At that point my skin was more oily, now it's more normal and when I tied it again, I no longer get really oily, but my skin doesn't look good. It sits on top of it, doesn't blend in, clings to all my little face hairs and seems very cakey. I've tried it with lots of different primer and with, without powder on top. It just doesn't seem this foundation is for me, as much as I keep trying.
This foundation is medium to full coverage. A little goes a long way. I found after a couple of hours on my skin it was a semi-matte finish.
I have to use a primer, finishing powder, and setting spray in order for this foundation not to transfer. I found after a day of wearing this foundation my skin appeared patchy.
Due to my skin type, this foundation was not right for me, and I would not repurchase.
I love Too faced product but I do not like this fondation at all. I bought it because I heard a lot of good comments about it but I was really disappointed. I have a combinaison skin with some redness and the coverage was good but it looked cakey. I have tried to apply it with my beauty blender and a brush but the results was no good either way. Oh, and it broke me out. If you want to try it I would recommend that you ask for a sample at Sephora before buying it. That way no regrets!
this product seems to bea cult favorite howver i find the shade selection is to yellow and leaves my skin oilier then normal i also find it clings to patches on my face and my skin reacts to it
I found it a bit pricey, however it applies wonderfully.
It is full coverage, thus i found it to be a bit cakey but to fix this i would mix it with a bit of matte setting powder and it would do the trick!
I wanted to love this. I really did. But after continuously testing it out with different primers & different methods of application, I just couldn't make it work. It slides right off my face, it oxidizes so bad turning orange.
