A must have for shimmers & glitter
I received this product from the brand fro review purposes.
I've added a lot of glitter to my makeup collection over the past year, which clearly means a glitter primer was also needed. I've tried a few from different brands, but I've found the Toff Faced formula is one of the better options. It is just the slightest bit tacky and as such really works as a great base for glitter and even shimmery shadows. I have slightly hooded eyes, so shadow can crease easier, and I've found this not only holds shimmer and glitter in place without fall out, but it also keeps it from shifting and creasing. It is definitely worth the price if you plan on using glitter.
Stuck like glue!
I tried this product for the first time with a loose glitter. It was awesome because I could apply it directly on top of any eyeshadow without ruining it, and it keeps the glitter sticking ALL a day. It dries clear and dries quick enough to set things so you don’t have to keep your eyes closed forever, but slow enough that you can apply both eyes at the same time without it drying before you put product on top. Works great with loose pigment and regular shadows to increase their intensity
works great for super glittery shadows
this primer works great for glittery shadows that have a lot of fallout. it helps keep all those sparkle stay put so they , so that they stay on your eyelids as opposed to all over your face.
Can't live without
I always mention Too Faced Glitter Glue on my Instagram so I thought it's about time to review it. Ok let's start off with what Eye primers I have used in the last year- Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, Mannakadar's primer, Shadow Insurance by Too Faced, and Benefits Lemon aid. All those are good primers BUT for Metallics and Glitter this is just the best. Love it for vibrant colours like the Urban Decay Full Spectrum palette, Glitter Glue just makes it POP. When I apply the primer I use a brush like the one shown (out of Tarte's Make Believe brush set). Just to apply the primer more evenly and then I pack the colour on. Depending on the palette this will be a toss up of brush or finger application. I don't let the primer dry. Pack your colour on before. Shadow be it sparkly, glittery or metallic will stay put. I thought it was pricy when I bought it and thought "This better friggin work" and now I don't think I will ever go without. Anytime someone says online about a quality band that the eyeshadow has no pigment I think "Betcha Glitter Glue would work"
Okay so I wasn't really buying into this at first.. I've used glitters and glitter eyeshadows before and they've worked with normal primer, or none at all. But after having about 2 sparkly/glittery eyeshadows that barely showed up I figured I'd give this a try. It feels thick, and dries quickly, so when I first swatched it I was unsure... but let me tell you this stuff holds glitter down in place ALL DAY LONG. I've used loose glitters, metallic shadows, and sparkly shadows with this and it's the real deal. They don't budge, and there's also hardly any fall out! It's honestly the BEST. I also tried this with glittery shadows that normally work without having to use this, and they don't look the same at all! They show up more vivid with TONS less fall out. If you don't have this in your life you definitely need it. Don't walk, run to Sephora and grab this baby up! 100% recommend. This is a complete game changer
I there is nothing i hate more than glitter fallout. This stuff saved me! The glitter stays in place and it isn't sticky after. Im very happy with it. I don't use glitter alot so it's worth the money for me it will last a long time.
I love Too Fced glitter glue. So easy to apply. Dab over lids and then apply loose glitter on top. There is no fallout. Glitter stays pretty and sparkly. It lasts me all day. Even through the odd gym workout. I know I'm odd wearing glitter to the gym. But I love sparkles!!! :-)
I HIGHLY recommended this to all glitter fans.
