This is a good primer, the price is up there, but it’s not crazy expensive. Makes my shadow last longer and be more vibrant as well. Packaging is cute and product lasts a long time as well.

Go To Shadow Primer

This primer helps my shadow to stay put and stay pigmented throughout the day. It works really well and a little goes a long way. Overall, it's an excellent shadow primer.

I know that a lot of people like the Urban Decay Original Primer Potion but I have never been a big fan of it. I was curious about this one so I gave it a try and I love it. My eyelids tend to become oily super fast so eye shadows don't stay in place for long but with this primer I don't have this problem anymore.

This is the only eyeshadow primer I've tried and It does work really well. You only need a small amount for it to work. It helps my shadow last all day and night. However, it does make it a little difficult to take the makeup off. One thing I'm not a huge fan of is that it leaves this really dry/gritty/sandy feeling to my eye and makes my eyes look a little crepe-like. I'm going to try some other primers so I can compare though.

Love this primer in the Candlelight colour! Before trying this, the last great primer I got my hands on was MAC's Beige-ing shadestick, which was discontinued over five years ago. However, although I'm quite happy with Too Faced's primer, it still just isn't quite there in terms of comparability. Shadow Insurance is fairly long wearing but after a lengthy day, eye colour may still come to fade; a significant amount of primer must be applied in order to achieve all day and night performance. The primer is very creamy and the Candlelight tone is a beautiful beige perfect for fair skinned individuals. It does contain some shimmer but if using matte powders, this effect is minimalized. Until I am able to find another primer as long wearing as the MAC Shadestick, I'll continue using this product!

I received a sample of Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer with a Sephora order. I have used many different types of eye shadow primers, and none of them have worked on my oily lids. This primer was amazing and my eye shadow stayed looking amazing all day! I will definitely buy a full size tube and continue to use this.

This is a really good eye primer. I finished I believed 2 small tubes and I have 2 or 3 left (got them in gifts sets I purchased or as point perks) It helps to prevent creasing, fading and smudging.

Nice eye primer that will help you to prepare your eyes for amazing make up. Formula in the primer help eyeshadows to have a long lasting performance.
