It does cool your laptop, but for many reasons this is not my favourite laptop cooler. I think if you have a newer, lightweight laptop this will do the job just fine, but it's made of really lightweight plastic and my laptop is old and very heavy. It didn't break, but it did sag a little under the weight, so I'd definitely say only use this for lighter laptops and not older models. I also felt there was a lot of strain on the non-slip toggle and worry it wouldn't stand up over time.

I do like that the angle is fully adjustable, but it was stiff and difficult to move around, there's a kind of knack to it that I just wasn't able to get. I also feel the fans were quite loud and could still be heard even when my laptop was on them. Again, not a huge issue if you don't mind a fan noise.

There were some things I liked about it. It did a good job cooling the laptop, I like the adjustable panel and extra USB slots. I feel overall, it's just a better fit for a lightweight laptop, rather than a large or heavy one.
