I had been seeing a lot about reverse washing or co-washing, but had not gotten around to trying it. I was happy to receive single use sample packs of TREsemme pre-wash conditioner and Shampoo, as part of their #VolumeRevolution campaign.

So you start by conditioning your hair. This seems somehow counter-intuitive, but I'll try anything once. The conditioner is quite thick, but spreads evenly to cover your full head. It has a nice light scent. You use it as you
Would any conditioner, apply, let it sit, then rinse. Rinsed easily without too much concern on my end of leaving any in, as I knew I was following with a shampoo.

The shampoo had the same nice scent, and worked easily into a nice thick lather. I got the impression it was doing a great cleaning job. The shampoo also rinsed easily.

I did nothing different than I ordinarily would. Combed my hair, with a wide bristle comb, and went about my day. I had all but forgotten about it, when my son said, wow, what did you do with your hair? I looked in the mirror, and sure enough, my hair had a lot more volume, and less flyaway so. It felt thicker, and looked great. The volume was still there the next morning, and my ponytail was a lot healthier looking than usual. All told, the volume lasted three days, when I once again washed my hair.

I will definitely be buying this when my existing products run out. I don't know the price point yet,

Just a note, I am posting this same review for the conditioner and shampoo, because I think they are meant to be used together. You will see the reviews broken down within the review , but I am not sure you would have the same effect if you were to mix products.

I have used different varieties of TRESemmé for years. It is so affordable and works well with my hair type. This particular one is the one I mostly use. Great product.

The Beauty-Full Volume Shampoo is a giant bottle of goodness. It’s formulated with those same Fleximax Volumizers to nix static, provide volume and get your hair ready for styling. Surprisingly it really did result in zero static, which in the wintertime is worthy of a ten-minute happy dance. It works with the conditioner, and smells clean and fresh too. It lathers up really nicely, and left my hair feeling soft, smooth and bouncy.

After squeezing out all water from the hair, apply Volume shampoo to the hair, from root to tips.

I found the shampoo lathered up really nice and a little product goes a long way.


Once again there was a slight scent – nothing overpowering.

It also rinsed out quite easily.

It would have been nice to have this in a pump style bottle as well but I guess it prevents you from blindly grabbing the wrong bottle and accidentally using the conditioner a second time.

I am in love with this line of TRESemme! Paired with the Beauty-Full Volume Conditioner this has transformed my hair fro dull and flat to thick and full of volume. Plus for me is that I have long hair and you don't need to use much of this to lather, literally a quarter size in your palm. It also smells sooo good! My hair looks and feels better and to me looks healthier, I highly recommend giving it a try!

Here's the thing, I was really interested in the product, I usually use sulfate free shampoos but once in a while I like to switch it up. I wanted so badly to love it, and it did nothing. Meh. I don't hate it, it didn't do anything bad but it didn't do anything for my hair. The smell is amazing though and I'll keep it as a backup shampoo. I wouldn't recommend it but it wouldn't hurt to try it. I'm undecided really...

The Beauty-Full Volume collection changes the way we wash our hair. The Pre-Wash Conditioner - as its name states - is to be used before the shampoo. And it makes sense, conditioners can flatten or weigh down your hair; by reversing steps, we avoid that.

We tried the Pre-Wash Shampoo and we kind of liked it. It has a nice smell to it, we can't really determine what it smells, but it's nice. Only thing, it tends to stick. Its rich and lathers on very nicely. We loved the texture of it.

Even on "flat" hair, we noticed a little volume, but not incredibly. We used it with and without the Pre-Wash Conditioner, and we prefer with it, obviously. The shampoo alone left our hair a little dull.

We didn't take the time to do a full blow-out with the Beauty-Full styling products though. Hair was smooth and flexible, less "heavy". We would probably buy it again, but would try different products before.

I was excited to use this product as I worked in a salon for many years and the concept intrigued me. My hair is professionally coloured and highlighted and the texture is very fine. After using it for a couple of weeks, I found the product too drying and my hair lacked any shine. I'm not saying the product is not good, I feel that it would work well for hair that is not colour treated (virgin hair). Perhaps TRESemme will formulate this system for colour treated hair so that it maintains shiny healthy hair with great volume.

I bought this in combination with the pre-wash conditioner. As I've said in the previous review, I don't always like Tresemme products, but this one was really good. The shampoo is not as creamy or heavy as I've found their other shampoos to be. I was wondering whether it was actually the same shampoo as their other lines, but I was wrong. The shampoo is much lighter than their other products and it has a great green apple smell. I don't think you need very much of this, so a little will go a long way. I've only used it twice so far, but I am hoping I will be able to get more time between washes if there is less product weighing it down. I currently wash every day but wish I could stretch it out to every other day, but my hair is fairly thin and shows grease fast. I really like this system so far and my hair feels very soft even though I used shampoo after the conditioner, so I'm not worried about my hair drying out.
