this is one of those times where i learned to stick to my tried, true products instead of trying something because it's on sale. Usually I love the GOSH spray dry shampoo but In the past Tresemme has always been a good brand for me. So when I saw their version on sale I decided to snap it up and give it a try. I wouldn't say it's bad really, but it just didn't soak up the oil and give the volume I'm use to. I use dry shampoos mostly in my bangs since they get oily fast for me. And this product dried them up quite a bit but they still looked somewhat piecey, oily. (Even though I bought the one specifically for fine, oily hair.) So it was kind of a let down but I'll use it all up and just go back to my regular brand next time.
It's a mediocre product. You have to spray a lot, but if you spray too much your hair will feel extremely weighted and sooo greasy after a couple of hours you would have wished you did not use this product in the first place. There are good dry shampoos out there, this however is not one of.
I was overly unimpressed with this product. The price for it was decent but for me the product didn't work as I was expecting it to. Overall the product made my hair feel more heavy than it was supposed to and I didn't notice much of a difference in the greasy appearance of my hair.
I saw the commercials for this and was really excited! I have coloured hair that gets oily very fast so as much as i would like to wash my hair less often that is often not even an option! I got hoping not for a miracle product but something that would maybe make it possible to get one more day out of my hair, even enough to put it in a pony tail without looking plastered to my head! i was so disappointed when i saw very little effect from this product. left my brunette hair looking greyed out.
Everything about this dry shampoo to me is average meaning ok but not great. I find that I have to use a lot of it at least twice before I go and it doesn't last long (as in the rest of the day) and I don't have oily hair. However, it does take out the oiliness and gives good texture to your hair to style. And it is helpful for when you really don't have time but unfortunately it's just average.
I was skeptical about this product not because I doubted that it would work but I did not know if it would hold up throughout the day. I am happy to report that it did hold up throughout the day and it did result in my hair feeling less greasy and this was the next best thing to properly washing it. I found this product useful for when you work out in the gym or in the winter when you were a tuque and it can leave your roots feeling greasy. The only thing I was not a huge fan of with this product is the smell. There is nothing exactly wrong with the smell it is just not for me. So while I found it effective, I don't know if I would use this as my dry shampoo of choice.
You know those mornings when you're running late for work, don't have time for a shower or a good hair wash, but don't want to go to work with greasy hair? Well this baby is what you need on those days! It smells very fresh and shampoo-ey and the fresh scent stays on your hair after you put it in. What I do is flip my hair over and rub the mousse into the roots of my hair. Then I take a towel and dry it. This mousse really does make your hair wet and it smells and feels cleaner than before you put it on. Once it dries, your hair looks freshly shampoo'ed.
None of us want to admit to it, but we all have those one off mornings when we just can't freshen up our hair before leaving the house. This little bottle is just a life saver in those situations. I would def' recommend this to all the ladies with long oil prone locks.
I was really excited when I saw the ad for this, but kind of skeptical as well. After trying it once, I knew I should have trusted my instincts, but still gave it another go, just in case I messed up . Sadly not.
I have hair that gets oily really quick, so I tried this in the evening (had showered in the morning). First thing I noticed was that it stank. I don't know what people mean when they say that it makes their hair smell 'fresh' unless fresh to them means a nasty chemical smell. I followed the directions, and then brushed it out. Wow, there was a lot of white powered in my brush and it was really gross. It didn't feel like I was brushing clean hair but rather like I had a lot of product or even hair spray in my hair.
It was hard to get the brush through. It didn't make my hair look or feel good. There was a nasty, gritty film on it. And if anything it looked more oily than it had prior. Then there is the whole voluminizing thing. It does that, but if that's all I wanted it for, I'd use a different product.
Needless to say, I will not be buying this product again. I do not feel this product is suited to what it claims.
My hair is always extremely dry after I wash it so after I while I decided to start washing it less often... However, even though the ends of my hair wouldn't get greasy after a few days without washing it, my roots would. This became really annoying which is why I ended up trying this dry shampoo, and believe me... I don't regret buying this! The price is really inexpensive for what it is, and the quality is great too! It smells really fresh and fruity (almost like freshly washed hair) and most importantly it leaves my hair a lot less greasy than before. The only con I would probably say is that if you don't apply it right, it won't give you the results you're looking for... You have to shake it really well before use and spray in small bursts, but it isn't really that big of an inconvenience. So overall.. I love this product and it is a must have for early school mornings when you don't have time to wash your hair!
I have medium to dark brown hair and I do not notice any white flakes. I'm not a fan of the smell. The scent of the dry shampoo seems to stay in my hair until I wash my hair. I use the dry shampoo on the second day of not washing my hair. This product is not very effective. After I use it, I feel as if the dry shampoo has done nothing to the oils in my hair. I would rather use baking soda. The price is very affordable but I would not recommend it.
