This is the worst dry shampoo I've ever tried .. Left my hair feeling stiff and dry .. It felt and looked like my hair was even dirtier . I would not recommend this product at all ! .. TRESemme usualy has many great products that I often use but this is not one of them unfortunately.
I really want to say that I loved this, but it honestly didn't. It says it is designed for oily hair, and yet I found that spraying it made my hair look even more oily, and it left powder in my hair. I didn't like this product very much at all.
This product is a POS, the spray and the foam are both terrible and did nothing to help make my hair less oily. I'll stick to the higher end products, while they may cost a few more dollars they actually work!
In my opinion, the only good thing about this product is the scent. I had never tried a dry shampoo before but liked other TRESemme products so thought I'd give it a go. It's pricey & it made more of a mess of my hair than it was already in. Ended up washing it out of my hair right away. Would NOT recommend it to anyone.
I’ve heard a lot of good things about dry shampoos this past year, so when I came across TRESemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo I thought I’d give it a try. I hate washing my hair everyday, or even every other day, but if I don’t it tends to get way to greasy. It took me awhile to even find any brand of dry shampoos where I live witch surprised me. Even after I did find this one I put off buying it because I just wasn’t sure how I’d like it and I didn’t want to waste my money. The store I found it at wanted $7.99 Canadian for it when its only $3.99 at the store shown on here. Well I finally broke down and bought TRESemme’s Fresh Start Dry Shampoo before Xmas. For those of you that may not know much about dry shampoo, it’s supposed to let you skip a day of washing your hair by zapping the oil and any orders from your hair, giving it a clean look and feel. Witch for someone like myself that tends to have oily hair, it seemed like some pretty big promises to me. Any how after reading how to apply it properly I went for it. I really wasn’t thrilled with the smell or the feel of this dry shampoo; it was like I added baby powder that smelled really bad to my head. You’re supposed to hold the can a few inches away from you hair and give it short burst of spray and then let it sit. I did this and my hair not only looked like it had baby power on it, it felt like it too. I gave it the right amount of time the can said to before I started to brush it out, but my hair ended up looking worse not better. I even tried it again a few days later thinking maybe I didn’t do it right the first time, but I had the same results. I tried putting my hair up thinking this might make it look better, but it still looked dirty to me so I gave up and was very disappointed with it. If you tend to have oily hair then I’d tell you not to bother with dry shampoos, or at least not with TRESemme’s Fresh Start Dry Shampoo. If you’re really wondering how your hair will take to a dry shampoo like I was, then maybe try and get a sample, or a travel size can before you spend your money on a full size can no matter how much you find it selling for.
This product is AWFUL! I have very thin hair and need to wash it everyday, so when I saw this product I initially thought FINALLY!!! I have given it a few tries and everytime I use it....it actually makes my hair look and feel worse. It leaves my hair looking oily and full of white flakes. I was very dissapointed....I thought TRESemme was a professional product so I expected only the best from them.
