this is one of those times where i learned to stick to my tried, true products instead of trying something because it's on sale. Usually I love the GOSH spray dry shampoo but In the past Tresemme has always been a good brand for me. So when I saw their version on sale I decided to snap it up and give it a try. I wouldn't say it's bad really, but it just didn't soak up the oil and give the volume I'm use to. I use dry shampoos mostly in my bangs since they get oily fast for me. And this product dried them up quite a bit but they still looked somewhat piecey, oily. (Even though I bought the one specifically for fine, oily hair.) So it was kind of a let down but I'll use it all up and just go back to my regular brand next time.
I was overly unimpressed with this product. The price for it was decent but for me the product didn't work as I was expecting it to. Overall the product made my hair feel more heavy than it was supposed to and I didn't notice much of a difference in the greasy appearance of my hair.
I saw the commercials for this and was really excited! I have coloured hair that gets oily very fast so as much as i would like to wash my hair less often that is often not even an option! I got hoping not for a miracle product but something that would maybe make it possible to get one more day out of my hair, even enough to put it in a pony tail without looking plastered to my head! i was so disappointed when i saw very little effect from this product. left my brunette hair looking greyed out.
Everything about this dry shampoo to me is average meaning ok but not great. I find that I have to use a lot of it at least twice before I go and it doesn't last long (as in the rest of the day) and I don't have oily hair. However, it does take out the oiliness and gives good texture to your hair to style. And it is helpful for when you really don't have time but unfortunately it's just average.
I was skeptical about this product not because I doubted that it would work but I did not know if it would hold up throughout the day. I am happy to report that it did hold up throughout the day and it did result in my hair feeling less greasy and this was the next best thing to properly washing it. I found this product useful for when you work out in the gym or in the winter when you were a tuque and it can leave your roots feeling greasy. The only thing I was not a huge fan of with this product is the smell. There is nothing exactly wrong with the smell it is just not for me. So while I found it effective, I don't know if I would use this as my dry shampoo of choice.
I have medium to dark brown hair and I do not notice any white flakes. I'm not a fan of the smell. The scent of the dry shampoo seems to stay in my hair until I wash my hair. I use the dry shampoo on the second day of not washing my hair. This product is not very effective. After I use it, I feel as if the dry shampoo has done nothing to the oils in my hair. I would rather use baking soda. The price is very affordable but I would not recommend it.
Sure, why not.

Good morning...before I head off to Montreal I thought I would give my two cents on a (semi) hot topic. A few of my girls have recently asked me what I think about dry shampoo. My thoughts:
It's no substitute for good old fashioned hair washing, but it's useful as a pick-me-up, especially in the summer when you're sweating more than usual.
Essentially all it is does is soak up grease, eliminate odour, and give a lil' boost. You know what else does that and more? Baby powder. Women's best friend.
If the idea of sprinkling that into your hair doesn't appeal to you, go ahead and spend the money on dry shampoos. I've tried Oscar Blandi Pronto. It smells lemony fresh and is easy to use. A cheaper option is Tresemme's line. I'd avoid the spray because if you don't work it in properly, it may leave white streaks. The mousse is better.
I am also trying to minimize my hair washing. so I decided to give this dry shampoo a try. I don't get it.... I do not like dry shampoos. I feel like my hair is still dirty.... it does not look so greasy, but instead it looks powdery. I tried brushing it, but it's very hard to dissipate that powder in my dark coloured hair. :(
All in all, I barely use it. I love the feel of fresh clean hair, and I do not find that this shampoo helps with the feel or the look of my hair on days that I don't wash. I can do without it.
I have always wanted to try dry shampoo as my hairdresser has always said its not the greatest to wash your hair daily. So when I saw the Tresemme Dry Shampoo, I picked it up in a heartbeat to try. The product does what it says it does, but did leave a white film on my hair. You just have to make sure that you really brush it out afterwards. My hair smelled great and felt clean.
