100% OF CHICKS DIG IT
This product is a nail strengthener. The 'natural' in the name refers to the colour. It is formaldehyde free, so that's a plus for those who strive for clean nail care.
The instructions for use are to apply each day and remove the next day (then repeat) for two weeks. At that point further application should be once a week. I did two separate rounds of the 2-weeks course, 2 months apart. What it did for me was, it kept the moisture in the nail much better than the usual manicures, and somewhat better than reapplying moisturizers on a bare nail all day. The surface of the nail was kept fairly smooth for the duration of the usage and a short while after. It is best if the removal is done with a mild remover so you don't undo the benefits of the previous days' application.
This seems to be the only colour available. Trind has other strengtheners under their other 'Repair' line that have a variety of colours, but i believe that line is more of a hardener vs. this one (Restore) being more of a "keep flexibility''. One coat doesn't show much other than shine; a second coat gives a bit of a milky-white colour, but still fairly sheer. A third coat is still sheer, and at this point you're probably wasting the product. So you'll need to get used to sheer coat/shine only nails for the duration of the treatment.
I tried wearing it as a base a few times. It did allow me to paint multiple coats of regular polish over it, but for me the manicure didn't last more than a day and a half before chipping/peeling off at the tips. So this works if you are planning to change the manicure quickly anyways.
The formula has a nice consistency, dries relatively fast, and the bottle and brush are very nice. This is something that Trind does well, their packaging is excellent. One thing i noticed, when the bottle got to the last 1/3, the formula thickened rapidly and got difficult to apply and dry. I didnt try adding restorer to it as i have very little left in the bottle at this point.
The price online is on par with other nail strengthening products. It can be found at higher end nail salons for a bit more $$.
