Horrible taste.

I received two containers of this expensive supplement from my best friend. Like him, I have found no acceptable way to consume this horrid stuff. I've tried every way imaginable to ingest it in various drinks and foods or just on it's own. The flavours of the ingredients are not complimentary to each other, so no matter what you do it tastes horrible. Now it just sits on my counter and will probably end up being thrown out. I was not able to consume enough of it to determine if it is a good supplement otherwise.

Not as effective as I hoped...

Tumerix is a fast acting, soluble tumeric powder, and includes activating agents like black pepper and coconut. It also has a bunch of other good for you herbs and spices, and is suppose to have many health benefits.

I originally got this product as an anti-inflammatory. I have plantar fasciitis and suffer from foot pain caused by inflammation. I've been taking turmeric capsules for years, with limited results. I was hoping that this would be more effective. However, it's been a solid three weeks of double doses, and I haven't noticed any change in my foot pain. At $65 bucks for a month's supply, this is disappointing.
