This LED flashlight is very heavy despite its small size! It could certainly double as a safety weapon if need be!

The first thing I noticed was that it did not turn on. I opened the bottom, and it required a battery. Unfortunately normal AA batteries do not work, so we had to go out and get the required 18650 rechargeable battery instead – which cost almost as much as the flashlight itself! I looked on Amazon, and I do recommend ordering the flashlight AND batteries together to save on cost.

Once we were able to get the flashlight working, it definitely provides a lot of power for its small size. There are 5 light modes – low, medium, and high, as well as a strobe light effect and SOS warning light in case there is trouble.

The aluminum is sturdy and durable – dropping it several times during testing, it did not scratch or dent.

We also have left it outside in the rain with no damage to the aluminum or the power of the flashlight.

It illuminated the outdoors quite well while we were on a camping excursion, but due to its weight, we did not hang it from a lanyard like we do our normal small flashlights.

I feel for the price point, the battery certainly should have been included – that was an expense in itself! The light itself was no more powerful than a much more economical LED flashlight we already owned.
